CoCo Ichibanya Akasaka — Restaurant in Tokyo

Never again! The woman, that worked there was treating us very badly!!! The food was alright and the slightly elderly male worker was very nice, thus the two stars for service. But this woman (thirties, slightly bigger, wearing glasses) was so mean. As soon as we arrived she gave us mean looks, even though we both greeted her nicely. Then she was not even trying to help or talk to us. She threw a Manie at us and was staring at us. She was also very very aggressive. She just came without a reason to our desk and rearranged the thing standing there in a highly aggressive way. I think she treated us that way, because we are tourists and also the only women and the only younger persons visiting this place and she saw a chance to let some anger out at somebody. I wouldn’t visit this place again, just bc of her and I wouldn’t recommend it to anybody visiting Tokyo, who isn’t Japanese. Just go to one of their other shops, but not...

I had the chance to visit this place when I was in Akasaka. I ordered the traditional beef curry with hamburger meat. The curry itself was amazing but the beef had a considerable amount of fat. The taste was a good spicy flavor which I enjoyed and the hamburger meat was a great compliment. You order your own food on the iPad and they bring it to you. You pay when you leave the place. I was with friends and I was able to try the Butter Chicken Curry and Beef Curry Spicy Level 4. They were both great but the spiciness level 4 was a bit too much for my taste. it’s a small outlet and we came here for dinner at 8pm. It was full house with only a table for 2 available(we are a family of 4 with young kids) and we decided to just take the seat. While the staff on the floor is kind, the staff in the kitchen is horrible. We saw another table of 4 finished their food and left, so we kindly asked if we can take that table and was shouted at ‘NO NO’ angrily.
