I had a great time in all Japanese cafes except this one No one attempted to take our order until I walked to the counter with the menu. I tried to order 1 drink + 1 toast set for the two of us. But I was told each person has to order one drink each. 650 yen and above for drink. I have been to fancy cafes in the city area and their drink are much cheaper than this? The dirty, smelly environment is not worth the premium on the drinks. Period. Toast set is served without any utensils? Bad service again. Especially with the price premium. I didn’t know Cafe Renoir was a chain. Nonetheless, this branch was a quiet, calm space, and the window table offers good people watching.

I had breakfast with my son, and the toast was incredibly fluffy. Coffee was good. So was the yoghurt.
