Coffee Shop CARIB — Restaurant in Tokyo

Nice little coffee shop in the tourist-heavy area around Senso-ji. Cash only. They have a pretty good selection of drinks. I had a cafe latte and my son had a banana drink, both were very good. There is a small selection of food dishes on the menu, mostly “toasts”, sandwiches, and pasta dishes. What they call “toasts” are toasted sandwiches (I assume a bit smaller than those under the “sandwich” section of the menu based on prices). We ordered a ham toast, which was a sandwich of toasted white bread, ham, lettuce, a little mayo and mustard. My son got the egg toast, which was an egg salad sandwich on toasted white bread. Both toasts were good. I’d say the prices are a bit higher than other coffee shops we visited in Japan, but not egregious. 3 drinks and 3 toasts came out...

A nice little café in a busy tourist area. I would recommend going for one of the cake and coffee sets. However, be aware that the choice of drinks with cake sets is pretty limited. Stay away from latte - not the best. Best to stick with retro drinks, tea and simple coffee. Slightly overpriced, but that's just the area. The staff is nice but all payments are cash only. They also have an English menu, and some staff members...

What a gem! This cafe has an amazing welcoming warm vibe. The hostess is the best example of hospitality. So welcoming and warm. The decor, the simplistic menu, the price, the location…you are missing out if you don’t stop here! The beef stew is the best stew I have ever had.
