Ginhachi — Restaurant in Tokyo

This is a restaurant exclusively for inbound foreigners. They offer takeout, but since it's now a restaurant specializing in inbound tourists, no one takes anything home. The menu has nearly 50 different kinds of fish displayed on the wall, so if you come here, why not order one by one? I'm impressed that they have so many different kinds of fish. It would be a big problem if there were very few fish on the wall when there were so many fish displayed. I went to a nearby sushi restaurant that was cheaper and tastier than this one, and they had the same menu on the wall, but I was able to order everything normally. Same as other reviews are saying: Food tasted great, service was friendly. We walked right in and sat down. Surprisingly open later than many other places. Some things I didn't see mentioned: I noticed other people ordering take-away we paid with card, others were using pay-pay. I was surprised it was an option, it has the vibes of a cash only shop. language wasn't an issue, the staff had enough English for everything we needed. As of today we have eaten here 3 of our 5 days in Tokyo. Tomorrow we are planning to eat here but that depends on when we get back. From our first visit this restaurant impressed us with their service and quality of the food! Tonight was no exception, having never eaten umami I was committed to trying it while in Tokyo.
