Had take away twice; once it was a mango shaved ice (kakigori) as there was an enormous queue to eat inside (it was in the middle of summer), then another time a warabi mochi latte. The second time, as it was a bit later in the day and a bit cold, there was not one person in store, and after I paid the order, the guy asked me to wait outside. But wait, there is only him and the lady preparing the order and I can’t even stay 2 minutes inside the store to wait for it to be ready??? I thought it was extremely rude, especially as at that time I was checking at things (coasters) they were selling in the store!!!!!! The mango shaved ice was nice and tasty, as well as the warabi mochi match latte, but this attitude was negative stars, so this I s the reason for my rating. I asked if I could continue to see the things they were selling as I felt very unwelcome as a customer. I understand I had to wait outside if the store was full (again there were only those two behind the counter), and that this is what they usually do for take away orders, but for such an occasion I thought it was really insensitive and frankly ridiculous. The staff insisted that we had to get the same number of items as number of pax. The menu had not put this restriction under the kakigori page, so we tried to order one as that was what we actually wanted. The staff insisted for us to get another item. So we decided to get 2 soft serves which were 750¥ each, instead of 1 kakigori which was 1500¥.

Server was also very dismissive and rude, did not make us feel welcome at all. Did not respond to our multiple attempts to get their attention to order; and was using their phones or chatting to one another.

The soft serve was okay, slightly icy, with strong matcha taste.

The best kakigori I’ve ever had.

Here’s what we got. Melon kakigori. This was the best thing we got, it was just so good. The melon balls were extremely sweet and juicy. The shaved ice and whipped cream went super well together. Get this! Peach kakigori. It comes with yogurt and canned peaches on top. Really good, the peach flavor shines through and pairs really well with the yogurt. Seasonal ice cream. It came with matcha ice cream and mango sorbet. Both were very good.
