Came in to take a break from shopping kitchenware. It's a small and old fashioned coffee place run by a couple. They have a roastery in the shop and serves fresh coffee. However, their beans are the local blend which I am not accustomed to. The coffee is more acidic and less fragrant than the arabicas that you can get from the more professional cafes. I can say it is their local coffee flavor. The price is average at 450 yen for a black coffee and 550 yen for milk based coffee. Not much food selection available as the cakes are shown in the pictures below. Service wise is a bit hard to be used to as the lady boss can be quite rude at first. You can't choose your seats and you need to order first before you can ask her anything. Including the use of toilet. She may also look quite fierce too. Her service however is fast and efficient so you can get your coffee pretty fast. The ambience is quiet and dark as the place is lit by yellow lights. Overall not an enjoyable experience unless you are the type that don't bother...

A time machine that brought you back to the 70s or 80s in its retro decorations. It's just plain old, no upgrade over the years. Coffee is great. I love the layered taste of the coffee even though I order an ice coffee. The hint of acidity hit you first then follow by the chocolatey favour and an clean after taste. A great blend of south America beans. However language barrier refrain me from communicating further with the owner regarding his blend. Pan cakes are blast from the past MacDonald style , only thicker. Remind me of my childhood eating it. Do not order tea as it's over price tea bag in a pot . Overall a great old school coffee house, with rude stuff that made it all the more fun and human in a pristine and...

Thereโs a simplicity to this place that you can appreciate and makes it so hospitable. The older gentlemen working here (I assume the owner) was so kind and has a very cute/friendly Daschund too. We visited our fair share of โfancyโ cafes in Tokyo but this place truly left an impression. We will definitely be back on...
