Kappabashi Hondōri Shopping Street — Local services in Tokyo

If you like cooking and/or baking then this is the spot for you. There are soooo many cool stores on this street that have beautiful pottery, cool cooking utensils, and bakeware. We saw a lot of things (like matcha whisks) way cheaper than what you’d find at places like Loft or Don Quixote.

There are also a ton of knife stores if you want a good chef knife made of Japanese steel.

And a bonus: kappabashi is for kappa, the creature from Japanese folklore and Kappn from animal crossing! So there were a ton of cute little kappa drawings...
