Teketeke Shinjuku Flagship Store / yakitori — Restaurant in Tokyo

I visited a different Teke Teke location last time I was in Tokyo and when in the mood for yakitori I decided it was a safe choice. They have english translate menus which makes it extremely accessible to foreigners. They have a table charge of around $3 per person which gets you a big plate of cabbage which they put your skewers on, after you get to eat it with all that meaty juice on it.

We started with the chicken meatball which I enjoyed, it does have some gristle/cartilage which my mother had a huge issue with but I personally don't mind. We then had some chicken which was fine, chicken skin which was a little undercooked, and bonjiri which was delicious. We also got a side of karaage which I think was thigh meat and very tasty. I also got the ochazuke which while good had near microscopic pieces of roe.

Overall it was a decent meal and as the yakitori is less than $1 each it's easy to get full cheaply. While it's not the best yakitori place around it's very easy as someone who doesn't speak Japanese to go here and have...

It's nice to have a computer screen in English to order from. On the down side their dishes were a bit on the light side and the meat was involved odd chewy parts. I'm not sooo picky but I left a lot of food on the table and left hungry. Also was smoky there.
