I was looking for a good tempura place and initially planned to go to another restaurant nearby. But after arriving, I changed my mind and searched again on Google Maps — that’s when I found this place and decided to walk there.
The restaurant was small.
The staff were very polite and welcoming. They explained the menu and even helped me order from the machine, which was really kind.
The food was excellent! While waiting, I could watch the chef prepare everything, and it was clear how much care he put into each dish. The tempura was crispy and perfectly cooked. I especially loved the soup that’s added to the rice in the second half — it was so good I finished every last drop.

I stopped by in the morning and went for the onigiri set, while my partner had the wild shrimp tempura set. My meal was great, but the shrimp set was definitely the highlight. They are willing to interact and engage in polite conversation with foreigners. And it’s the little things they do, like tell you a bit about the dish they are serving, that show they are truly proud of what they produce for their customers.
The shrimp dish was delicious. The vege tempura was also amazing.
