A Truly Perfect Evening and Impeccable Service (5/5) This restaurant created the backdrop for a truly special evening. While the food was exceptional, what truly stood out was the level of genuine care and attention from the staff. The service was prompt, warm, and attentive without being intrusive. Everyone was incredibly polite and friendly, making us feel genuinely welcome. I especially appreciated the beautiful attention to detail—the aesthetic, elegant tableware elevated every dish and really showed that the restaurant cares about the entire dining experience. The menu itself was a delight, combining comforting Japanese classics with unique modern twists. I particularly loved the complex yet balanced flavor of the Sweet Potato with Honey and Blue Cheese and the comforting simplicity of the Japanese omelette with Dashi. The Chicken and White Maitake Mushrooms grilled on a Magnolia Leaf was incredibly aromatic and tender. And, of course, the highlight: the Brown Sugar Crème Brûlée. It was so flawlessly executed—a perfect crispy top and smooth, rich custard—that we ended up indulging in three! This is an absolute must-visit. Highly recommended for the beautiful setting, the delicious food, and the truly wonderful service.

Our visit to this restaurant was exceptional from start to finish. The hospitality was, quite simply, top-tier. The staff were incredibly attentive, polite, and genuinely friendly, ensuring we felt welcomed and cared for throughout the evening. Service was remarkably quick, and every detail, including the beautiful, aesthetic tableware, was carefully considered. The food menu offered a delightful journey of flavors. We thoroughly enjoyed the savory plates, particularly the delicate Salmon and Turnip dressed with Soy Sauce and Koji, the aromatic Chicken and White Maitake Mushrooms grilled on a Magnolia Leaf, and the rustic, comforting Traditional Tofu Poach with Grilled Green Onion Miso. The starter courses, like the Japanese omelette with Dashi and the flavorful Sweet Potato with Honey and Blue Cheese, were perfectly executed. However, the undisputed highlight of the evening was the dessert: the Brown Sugar Crème Brûlée. It was so perfectly caramelized and balanced that we couldn't help ourselves—we ordered three servings! It was truly unforgettable. Everything we tried was excellent. We highly recommend this establishment for its delicious cuisine, attention to detail, and impeccable, friendly service. We can't...

The food, service, and atmosphere were all amazing! We did our best to speak Japanese, but a server who spoke fluent English was happy to assist us. We were sat at the counter in front of the chef and he served us each plate directly out of the window, which was fun for us. I think he was happy that we crushed every plate we ordered, haha. Couldn’t go wrong with anything, but I think we were most pleasantly surprised by the sweet corn pancake! Definitely hope we can return on our next...

I really enjoyed my dinner here. I came by myself and sat at the counter. The staff were so nice and hospitable :) The yakitori was yummy and the other dishes as well. This restaurant was close to my hotel, so I'm happy I was able to stop by on my last night in Japan. Come give this place a try if you're in the area! P.S. don't worry for those of you who can't speak japanese, you order by touch panel. No need to yell すみません! to the waiter haha.
