I always wanted to try genuine hotpot. I'm a Brit but am fairly obsessed with Chinese food, so there was a gap in my repertoire. I'm not sure that I entirely get the concept because it doesn't seem like expertly prepared exactly gourmet, given that you cook it yourself, putting plain, raw ingredients into boiling broth. The place is gorgeous from the inside and brand new. We had the big hot pot with three different stews (watch out for the spicy one, it’s really spicy) and all of them were great.
