Sea Village serves very good, authentic, no nonsense and reasonably priced Chinese food. What more can you ask for? I especially like their deep fried sweet & sour fish and the local vegetable dishes. This restaurant is very popular among the locals and the expat community. It used to occupy a corner shop lot but the business has since expanded and they've now occupied the ground floors of several shop lots. Even with more tables added they're able to maintain their food quality and their service. They are also open during lunch time but best to call and book a table if you plan to go at night during the weekend. I would have gladly given the restaurant 5 stars if not for 2 small issues. The first is the lack of car parks especially at night during the weekend when it gets very busy. And 2nd, the flies. It's not nice to dine when there is a fly buzzing around. I do hope the restaurant can do something about those buggers.

One star for the air conditioning facilities and that’s all. Ordered 1. Asam fish Weird that every fish is rm80/kg, looks like it’s purposely priced for tourist 🤔, when I went to another restaurant they have all sorts of prices for different types of fish as they should. After taking into advice of one of the commentators that complimented asam fish is nice so we decided to give a try and it turned out the asam has only sour watery taste. 😬 fish is fresh tho 2. Salad sauce tofu rm15 small Overfried, it’s a shame because the homemade tofu is actually nice. 3. Salted egg sotong rm30 medium Weird taste that I can’t explain, it’s very different from original salted egg sotong, avoid it at all cost, even from the pic, you can tell that the colour is wrong. 4. Only came here due to other restaurants are fully booked, perhaps my experience this time explained why there is many empty seats left for peak hours 😬

This review is a customer service issue. The place has a rundown environment. Probably didn’t maintain well after Covid. Whenever there isn’t much people, no complaints. But with probs 80% capacity, I couldn’t get any waiter to wait us. We waited 15-20minutes only to realize we have to get up to find the menu and then self order. Some tables get waited, but most didn’t. They didn’t hire enough servers, not enough workers to accommodate their high number of tables. As much as I enjoy their food, the customer service really turned me away from bringing new friends here. Wished they’d improved.

Terrible service and food experience. First dish - prawn with stem egg, the egg very hard and cold, seem like cook for long and re-heat! The prawn also very bad taste and no fresh. Second dish-Sotong salted egg, the sotong like a rubber and seem like re-hear too, my teeth bite will “bounce back”! And the taste was very sweet and all the sotong stick together! Third dish- Fish with RM100!, stem with black soy sauce, the fish smells was very bad and no fresh. Forth dish- Thai style fried pork belly, overcook and very sweet, seem like the sugar is free! There were many foreign workers, and i asked for the chinese waitress and try to understand why the foods were so bad, they were just ignored! The other 3 dishes were no in good shape too, no need to mention much!. It used be popular in the town, but please don’t because of too many customers and reduce...
