Com Ga MiMi House — Restaurant in George Town

So good, came to this restaurant 2 evenings in a row.

Had chicken with noodles which is unlike the ones you normally get. It’s delicious. Then the next day grilled chicken rice. Everything on the plate is full of myriad of flavours from chilli 😅, lemongrass ginger to kimchi. The chicken is also well marinated and finger licking good (ok I borrowed that). Be careful with the bones though.

The dish is also well balanced including various types of delicious vegetables. The accompanying bowl of clear soup is packed with flavour and refillable.

Chicken will appear on the plate after you finish the food. I like this type of attention to details. Sometime the chicken is upside down though 😊

I like to have more vegetables and ordered their vegetables soup as well which contains okra and tomatoes and various herbs, very refreshing.

The dessert sweet taro balls and the ones from next door (sister restaurant) also recommended, especially the caramel custard flan which was served with ice is cooling, delicious and value for money (RM5).

The courtyard with lanterns so beautiful and romantic, wish the weather is cooler so I can dine there.

In recent years, Sri Bahari Street has become a popular foodie street with many popular restaurants. During my visit to Penang, I visited this street three times at three different restaurants.

Today, we tried the new Vietnamese Chicken rice. We ordered the special combo for 4 people and it came with a beautifully presented platter. It consists of grilled chicken, steam chicken, and chicken giblets with vegetables. The fermented vegetables complement the chicken's flavor and make it more refreshing.
