The minute we stepped into the restaurant, we felt we were in Vietnam! The husband & wife owners had taking lots of effort, and details to decorate the dining area that we feel very much in Saigon. Every bit of the ceiling & wall would keep our eyes busy! Tq. The friendly proprietress told us the restaurant has existed for 8 years and expanded to another shop. Did I hear it right (next door or a few doors away). We took quite a while to select our dishes with the long list of menu. There were many interesting dishes to "spoil us" even though we just visited Vietnam recently. Our selection were fried grouper fillet fish noodle soup, bbq grill pork vermicelli, fried glass noodles with crab meat, crepe banh xes, grill pork belly with chilli sauce. Drinks choice were avocado smoothie & pineapple juice. The grill pork belly and avocado smoothie will also stick in our mind. Lovely done! The prices are also reasonable & affordable. Next time, we'll know where to go when thinking of Vietnamese meal. Until then, all the best & keep it up! 👍

The atmosphere at this spot is wonderfully cozy and evokes nostalgic memories of Vietnam. It's a place where you can unwind and enjoy a relaxing meal. The food exudes a comforting homemade quality, offering a taste that's both familiar and heartwarming.

While the flavors may not be exceptionally unique, they have a certain charm that's reminiscent of homemade goodness. It's like savoring a meal cooked with care by a loved one. Moreover, the swift service is a definite plus, ensuring you're not kept waiting long.

For those seeking a place that feels like a home away from home and offers a quick and satisfying meal, this spot is a solid choice. It might not push culinary boundaries, but its simplicity and warmth make for a pleasant dining experience.

Good food & attentive/prompt service. Comfortable & clean. Ordered: -Chicken & Beef Pho- Broth not bad, more on the peppery side, reasonably priced, protein quite generous. -Half roast chicken, tasty & tender. -Salad are good, big portions. Chicken & Beef with pineapple salads were yummy! -Chili sauce super good, unique & very spicy!! -Stir fried long beans with Beef was so so, beans were old & hard to chew. -Toasted coconut coffee shake was out of this world! MUST TRY! Will come back.

Updated Been eating there repeatedly for about 6 months then standard started to DROP BIG TIME…. Disappointing!! Pho used to be good but not anymore. Meat portions shank, Ingredients reduced. Beef salad used to be my favourite, now the beef so little...

Compelled to leave this place a review because as a Vietnamese person, I was highly impressed! Good portions, tasty food. Lemongrass chicken was delicious. Banh khot had entire shrimp on each mini pancake. Canh chua was okay - wished it was more flavorful and the fish more fresh. We ended up not finishing this one. (Hence the 4 stars since of all dishes I expected Canh chua to be delicious) Mango salad was delicious. Menu is robust and surprised to see a lot of things on the menu! Wish had more room and time to try more things. Def fulfilled my Vietnamese craving fix while in Penang. Staff all speak Vietnamese, was a bit challenging to communicate in English, but used Google translate when needed.
