BAD!! WORST HOTEL EVER MET!!
First of all, this is not a standard hotel!! This is an apartment, which has been divided into countless small hotels for rent (you can easily find this on Google Maps. Normally, there is only one hotel in one building, but there are no less than ten hotels in this building), so it was very noisy when I checked in, and I waited for a long time.
Next is the worst. Our room is about 750MR. For a room at this price, it should at least be clean, but not at all!! As soon as I entered the room, there was a very, very heavy damp and moldy smell! The taste is unacceptable. Not only the carpet in the room smells bad, but also the bedding smells bad. ( In addition, the picture of the room does not match our reservation.) We immediately went to the front desk and told them that there was a strange smell in the room. The front desk staff said that they would send someone to check it. It would take ten minutes, so we waited at the front desk. As a result, we waited for 20 minutes, but there was no reply. We went to the front desk and asked if someone had been sent to check the abnormality. Wei, the other party was not sure and had been playing with the mobile phone. We told him again that there was a strange smell in the room. The other party said that he would send someone to see it now and let us wait in the hotel room. After we returned to the room, the most absurd thing happened: they sprayed a lot of cheap and inferior perfumes in the room to cover up the moldy damp smell!! This not only did not solve the problem, but also made the room smell more strange! In such an absurd situation, we also waited in the room for 20 minutes, waiting for their so-called staff to come. As a result, as you can imagine, no staff came at all!! At this time, I went to the front desk again to tell him that the room had a serious smell of mold and dampness. The service staff had an extremely bad attitude and sprayed poor fragrance. This time, the front desk said that it took 15 minutes to change the room. As a result, the next room was changed. After we entered, there was the same damp and musty smell! ( If you think about it, you know that according to this poor service quality, the smell of these two identical rooms is normal) The bedding is also a musty smell. My friend and I agree that there is a strong smell. At this time, we had made it clear that the smell of this room was not acceptable at all, and clearly asked for a refund for check-out. The front desk rejected our application, and the attitude was very bad throughout the whole process. When we said that the smell was humid, the front desk staff was still chatting and tefun of us. They still defended that the hotel had no strange smell, and said that their The staff doesn‘t think there is a strange smell! How shocking it is that they asked their internal personnel to prove that the room was tasteless, instead of looking for a third-party personnel fairly. In the end, they refused the refund request throughout the whole process, and refused to communicate effectively throughout the whole process, and kept repeating that there was no problem with the room. I swear that any normal person can know that in humid weather like Kuala Lumpur, if you don’t do maintenance carefully, carpets, air conditioners and bedding may smell, and the smell of this room is so strong that people can‘t rest!!
In the end, we checked out directly and did not receive any refund. In Kuala Lumpur, you can stay at Hilton and Marriott at the same price. The reason why you stay here is that the pictures of the hotel rooms are very good, and the night view looks very beautiful. In fact, the scenery does not show the Twin Towers, and the rooms are not as well-equipped as you see. It is very unstandardized and casual.
Finally, I hope everyone can avoid all the hotels in this building, at least this one (I guess they are likely to change the name of a hotel again after there are more victims like me and continue to cheat with the rooms in...
Read moreI stayed at DeFace Platinum 2 with my family during our trip to Kuala Lumpur and booked the Presidential Suite. The room was spacious, clean, and offered a beautiful city view – definitely a big plus for both location and room quality.||However, our experience at the swimming pool was extremely disappointing.||We went up to the pool without knowing that no towels were provided there. There was absolutely no prior notice in the room, in the elevator, or at the pool area indicating that guests needed to bring towels from their room. Only after swimming did we find out there were no towels available.||When I attempted to return to the room to get towels, I was stopped by a security guard, who spoke in a very unfriendly manner and told me I was not allowed to walk around the hotel in wet swimwear. I explained that my entire family was at the pool and no one was in the room to bring towels up. I asked the guard if he could kindly contact housekeeping on our behalf, but he refused to help.||Frustrated, I stood near the entrance area to dry off a bit before going back to the room. The guard again raised his voice and told me to move somewhere else. I refused and explained that I wasn’t blocking any guests and that people were still passing through freely. I asked him to show me where exactly it said I couldn't stand there – unsurprisingly, he couldn’t.||After about 10 minutes, another security guard came out, this time much more polite and respectful. I explained the situation again, and he contacted his manager, who then brought me a towel so I could wrap myself and go down to the room to get more towels for my family.||I truly appreciate the help from the second guard and his manager – they handled the situation professionally and appropriately. However, the entire incident left a very negative impression on our stay.||👉 Suggestions for the hotel:|| Please clearly inform guests that there are no towels provided at the pool. This can be a simple sign in the elevator or a short note in the room.|| Staff, especially security guards, need better training on customer service – rude behavior is unacceptable, especially in a hotel of this standard.||While I still value the comfort and location of the hotel, with the price and expectations that come with a stay here, the unpleasant experience at the pool was a major drawback that needs serious...
Read moreMy recent stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The check-in process through Agoda was a nightmare, taking almost an hour as they insisted on matching the full passport name, followed by a long queue. The toilet door was faulty, and shockingly, there was no dustbin in the room — we were told to manage our own trash or face a RM500 charge disguised as a security deposit. The carpet floor was filthy throughout our 4-day, 3-night stay with no vacuuming or cleaning done. The bedsheets were never changed, only flipped, which caused rashes and itchiness. Basic necessities like plates and spoons were not provided, making it inconvenient for tourists. The hotel lift was painfully slow, forcing us to leave our rooms at least 10 minutes early just to reach the ground floor. The TV offered no working live channels; only Astro, which was useless without an account — we were left with just Netflix and YouTube, hardly worth calling entertainment. To make matters worse, the iron in the room was poorly maintained, sticking to my clothes even on low heat and ruining my outfit. On top of all that, the hotel had the audacity to charge RM10 for an extra blanket or towel, and even questioned how many people were staying in the room. I booked and paid for a room for two — asking for an extra blanket or towel should not be treated like a suspicious request, nor should it incur extra charges after already paying for the room. Overall, this stay was filled with frustration, inconvenience, and poor service. Definitely not...
