Platinum 2 by DM Suites — Hotel in Kuala Lumpur

One of the best pools in Kuala Lumpur with a reasonable price. Platinum 2 by DM suites were a fantastic accommodation that it has a complete equipment which are a bathroom, a mini dining table, a mini kitchen (comes with some kitchen utensils), a bed and with a small working corner. Moreover, DM suites has a swimming pool and the view is the best! The entire view of KL was amazing from the top level of the face 2 by DM suites. Overall, 5 Star!!!!!

Check-in was fast, and the host (changed daily) immediately provided anything we needed, such as towels. It seems like they continue to manage things even during long stays.

The pool view is amazing! Of course, most people are taking pictures, so it's a bit crowded for swimming, but it's still nice to walk around.

The view from the room is also quite beautiful! It's a new building, so I didn't see any bugs and it was clean! It's not well-known yet, so there were a lot more people at The Face Suites' pool.

We really enjoyed our stay here. What an amazing new hotel that has opened up in the heart of Kuala Lampur. I had a blast staying here. Rooms are crazy spacious. The decor is fantastic. The service is responsive as well. If I go back to Kuala Lampur, this is where I’ll come. The rooftop pool has the best view of both the Twin Towers and the KL tower. Definitely consider this place when you come to Kuala Lampur. I can’t recommend it enough. It’s close to everything important in the city. Moreover, DM suites has a swimming pool and the view is the best! The entire view of KL was amazing from the top level of the face 2 by DM suites. The pool view is one of the best in Kuala Lumpur. The standard of room is very high and overall at this price, you can blindly book this.

The room is a studio type, but it is comfortable, and just nice for 2 of us. The room is equipped with a bathroom and a kitchen, making it pretty complete for a short staycation. The room is clean and tidy. The bed is new, and relatively nice to sleep in. We weren't disturbed at night as the outside sound didn't reach into the room. If you have the chance to stay here, remember to go up to the top floor, the city view from the swimming pool is absolutely breathtaking, you won't want to miss the chance to take some nice shot for your memory.

If the front counter staff were as good as the actual facility itself, this place would be amazing. Unfortunately, what truly lets 'The Face Platinum 2' down is the abysmal, unqualified, unapologetic staff who act like they are herding cattle through a cattle dip rather than creating a warm and inviting first experience. Having already paid for our room, we were requested to pay a 500MYR security - pretty standard stuff. However, I was advised that Visa debit nor Amex was accepted - weirdly only credit cards or cash. I had cash but was 80MYR short, so I suggested allowing my family to enter the room while I made the journey to the ATM. The staff member was unmoved and unsympathetic, to say the least. Left with no other choice, I had to walk two blocks to the nearest ATM. On my return, I was greeted again by the completely oblivious front counter staff, unconcerned with my recent inconvenience nor willing to at least try and make this process less painful. Not even a glass of water...Nothing!.. I have travelled across the world and have been to almost all the leading hotel brands - none have ever treated a customer this badly. I requested to speak with a Manager - this request was met with a blank stare. I called the customer service line and got no response (fairly certain it was the same staff). I was then informed that they indeed could accept Visa Debit however, upon checkout, it could take up to 3 months to refund - although this sounded very unlikely - I would not have objected to doing this had the option been presented. Frustrated by this point, We received our key and went up to our room. We booked the 2 bedroom suite. It was simple yet spacious, comfortable enough but we did have to request basic cooking utensils. We also had major issues with our Internet services - an essential service as we both work online. There are some shops in the local area, the pool is great but all in all, the facility needs to conduct some basic staff training as they are indeed very amateur and oblivious to customer needs.
