Dine in here on 16th September after months of lockdown.
When first arrived at the restaurant, we were greeted with warm smiles and they followed strict SOPs and guidelines.
The decor is not bad and we had a lovely seat by the window.
My girlfriend and I ordered "Fish and Chips" and Salmon. Not going to lie, their fish and chips is one of the best ones I had in KL. Perfectly fried, crispy on the outside and soft in the inside. The chips were thin and they were just cooked right and with a nice balance of salt. The tartar sauce was a nice touch to it as well. The salmon was also very unique, its cooked as if was like a steak, its just melt in the mouth and came with a sweet and savoury sauce. Love the decoration on the plate. The mash potato that came with it was also one of the best mash potatoes I had. Fried tempura Spinach leaves also added a nice touch. The portions are great as well.
For desserts, we ordered their famous strawberry cheese mille crepe cake, very unique presentation. It came as in a crepe form instead of a cake. It was heavenful. The flavours are not too overpowering each other and it has a right balance of sweetness.
The waiters were attentive and friendly as well. They always come by to fill up our water glasses.
Price is reasonable. Food is great. Exceptional customer service. 10/10 would come here again for...
Read moreCame here twice in July and August 2022 Rating 4 out of 5 only for the food and drinks
The food overall here is fantastic..Granted some dishes were better especially the lamb rack and the burgers. Which were perfectly seasoned, cooked and flavourful (10/10) Though I do realised there was a change in the dishes (flavour, style and dish component) between July and August
the cocktails overall were good (good amount of alcohol n balance), especially the Irish coffee (10/10)
HOWEVER HE SERVICE HERE IS SUPER SLOW AND HORRIBLE which kills the great dining experience. We need remind continuous couple of times for our missing orders, which never came at the end even after we have finished our main courses and desserts. We also had to remind for the complimentary bread, which only came after the main course. The waiter/manager also gave the wrong information wherein if we are using our Marriott club membership for buy 1 free 1 alcohol.Back in July, it was buy 1free1 as long as same value drink, but in August they state that it has to be on the same drink. I been using this voucher at different places, and all the other places allowed different drinks as long...
Revised review as of Apr’25:
Came here second time today. Overall, satisfying meal. But did not leave a lasting impression. Have tried a variety of items on menu at this point.
Things we’ve tried from WORST to best: Avacado Burger (special shoutout to this one, RM68 for 1 Avacado with some pitiful crab mayo inside 😱 avoid this dish), Tuna Steak Burger (mild tuna taste, a bit tough), Pan Seared Salmon (the green stuff tasted like Hakka luicha, I am not a fan), beef lasagna (it’s alright), Steak on Board (sauce tasted instant, fries cold, meat is alright), Teriyaki Roasted Cod (yummy), Harissa Lamb Cutlets (lamb is quite fatty, but tasted good), Elvis Burger (the banana really added to it, very unique), Sup Ekor (surprisingly good, we were all pleasantly surprised), Truffle Mac n Cheese (this is my favourite, real truffle used). Lastly, we had the Latte - big portion served.
Came by on weekend night both times. Made a reservation but you really don’t have to. Not too crowded. Ambience is lovely, but it’s quite dark, wife complain can’t see her food. Service staff were all polite and...
