Visited Come True Cafe last evening around 7pm specifically for their outdoor seating with the famous view. The location is absolutely perfect - you get an incredible panoramic view of Pavilion Bukit Bintang and can even catch a glimpse of the Petronas Twin Towers in the distance. This is definitely what makes this place special!
The Good: • Stunning view from the outdoor tables overlooking Pavilion and busy Bukit Bintang area • Food quality is excellent - both main courses and desserts were really delicious and well worth the price • The vibe and atmosphere is great, especially in the evening • Located conveniently in The Starhill, easy to access
The Wait & Requirements: Do note that they have a minimum charge policy for the prime outdoor tables - one main course and one drink per person, which is fair considering the premium location. I spent approximately RM180 for the experience and felt it was justified given the food quality and view.
Be prepared to wait though - I arrived at 7pm and had to wait about 45 minutes to get seated at the outdoor area. The view is popular, especially during dinner time, so plan accordingly.
Minor Complaint: The only thing that wasn’t quite to my taste was the bright blue chairs - a bit too flashy for my preference. The color scheme could be more elegant to match the upscale location.
Overall: Despite the wait and chair colors, the combination of spectacular city views, delicious food, and great evening ambiance makes this place worth visiting. Perfect for special occasions, date nights, or when you want to treat yourself to something memorable in KL. The view of Pavilion and the Petronas Tower tip really makes the experience unique. Would definitely return, but maybe with a reservation next time to avoid the wait!
Tips: • Come early or be prepared to wait for outdoor seating • Evening timing offers the best views with city lights • Budget around RM80-100 per person for the...
Read moreCome True Cafe at The Starhill KL offers a cozy and stylish ambiance, fitting for its prime location in Kuala Lumpur’s golden triangle. At first glance, the prices seem quite steep, likely reflecting its upscale setting. However, when it comes to taste, the experience is a mix of highs and lows.
The highlight of the menu is undoubtedly the soufflé—light, airy, and perfectly executed, making it a must-try for dessert lovers. The variety of croissants is also impressive, with unique options like the fried chicken croissant adding a creative twist to the usual offerings. On the downside, the salmon spaghetti fell short, marred by an unpleasant fishy smell that overshadowed the dish. Additionally, while the service was polite, some practical issues affected the experience. Our table was quite small, yet drinks were still served on a wooden tray, making it impractical and a bit inconvenient.
The vegetarian pizza is another highlight, offering great flavor and a satisfying texture. However, it would be even better if the menu included more vegetarian options.
One pleasant surprise was the ongoing promotion, which offered a free soufflé—a sweet bonus that we truly appreciated.
Another minor but noticeable issue was cleanliness. Dust could be seen on the artificial plants, which took away from the otherwise well-designed ambiance.
Given the premium pricing, the portion sizes could be more generous to better match the value expectations. While certain items shine, others leave room for improvement, making it a spot best suited for those looking to indulge in quality desserts and pastries rather than a...

We started with the Japanese Teriyaki Beef Pizza. Served on a thin, crispy crust, the combination of succulent teriyaki beef, melted cheese, and fresh Italian greens was absolutely delectable. The flavors melded perfectly, making it a standout dish. 5/5
Next, we tried the Fried Chicken with Numbing Spicy Sauce. The chicken was fried to golden perfection, crispy on the outside and juicy inside. The mala sauce added a delightful kick without overpowering the dish. It was a harmonious blend of spice and flavor. 5/5
For dessert, we indulged in their Brown Sugar Bubble Tea Soufflé Pancake. The soufflé was airy and fluffy, topped with a rich brown sugar glaze that added a satisfying sweetness. It was the perfect sweet ending to our meal. 5/5
Our drinks were equally impressive. The Lavender Mist was a visual and aromatic delight, served with a bubbly presentation and a soothing lavender aroma that complemented the creamy latte. The Cold Lavender Milk Tea was refreshing and aromatic, making it an ideal choice to unwind after a long day. Both 5/5
