Gardenman KL — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

I clearly asked staff 1 to put remarks to exclude certain ingredients and even reconfirmed with them, yet my food was still served with the ingredients I specifically asked to exclude.

When staff 2 asked if I was okay with it, I requested for the dish to be redone. Instead of showing professionalism, they gave me an annoyed look and took the plate back to the kitchen.

In the end, staff 3 came back with the exact same dish and had the audacity to claim that I never mentioned excluding those ingredients. I told him I absolutely did, yet he kept insisting I hadn’t.

This was clearly a miscommunication between their staff and the kitchen, but instead of taking responsibility, I was made to feel like it was my fault. On top of that, their rude attitude and terrible service made the experience even worse.

A lovely place. Very clean with the feeling of an oasis from the heat and humidity. The food is good quality. Both indoor and outdoor seating. Music is at a good volume for me - not loud but present, allows you to have a conversation and enjoy your food. The scrambled eggs served at breakfast are delicious. The coffee will wake you up. A wide choice of local and western foods for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Local and western desserts. Dine-in and takeaway. Hi, I’d like to share some feedback. I’ve had the Vietnamese Phở - Braised Beef (Black Angus Beef) & Beef Meat Balls here before and was really satisfied — the portion was generous, the taste was great, and it felt worth the RM29.90.

However, my recent order was quite disappointing. It was the same menu, but the portion was noticeably smaller, and the beef broth had a strange smell and taste, almost like the meat wasn’t fresh. It was very different from my previous experience.
