We had just dropped off Najwa at KLCC, and I had wanted to have breakfast at Wanjo, Kampong Bharu. But as we were passing along Persiaran Stonor, my wife's attention was distracted by this roadside cafe, and the number of cars parked along side the road. And she quickly exclaimed, " Let's have breakfast here!" So, there goes my Wanjo...
I took a bit of time adjusting my car parking, but she had alighted earlier and straight away ordered Roti Tampal with teh tarik. When I arrived, I immediately saw that they also serve nasi lemak, but I decided not to have that dish, as it would definitely NOT be at Wanjo's level...Hence, I just followed my wife, and went along with Roti Tampal and teh tarik also.
We sat at the covered terrace area, which was almost fully occupied. Our choices of tables were quite limited, but to make things worse, at least four of the patrons were smoking!!! We ended up sitting near the main entrance to the inner hall, but still we could smell those flagrant cigerattes, as the smokers were simply puffing away without any care for the other customers!!😡😡😡

Price is just nice not too low or too pricey. Food is tasty, drinks are refreshing and the decor is just simply garden like. Just what you need in a place where the concrete jungle surrounds you and needed a place that's green and relaxing.
If you come in the late afternoon, expect to have some fried finger foods like Pisang goreng (fried bananas), cucur Udang (fried shrimp dumplings) and some other...

However, the seating area can get quite hot during sunny lunch hours, even with the fans on. The Teh O Ais was refreshing, and the pricing is standard for Malay mixed rice. I also appreciate the convenience of paying with a QR code.
Overall, a solid spot for...
