The customer experience I had today was horrendous. I had ordered their house volcano coffee which surprisingly had soda water in it, despite NO indication of such in the menu. This came as a shock, especially as it was the only coffee they serve.

When I asked to replace the coffee with one with regular water instead of the soda water, I was met with an extremely rude female staff member who told me that I should have informed them of my dislike in fizzy drinks prior to my order... MY COFFEE ORDER that had NO INDICATION of ANY SODA on the menu. I was ordering coffee, not a soda pop.

The change in drink was a simple request which I did not think would be rejected. Why are you being so calculative? I barely had a sip of mine and was clearly giving you facts: (1) soda in coffee was not stated in the menu (2) I can't drink carbonated drinks, much less in coffee - tasted so bad to me (3) your menu is clearly missing crucial information hence the fault of miscommunication is yours (4) change my drink

She instead said that "all they can do" is add more water to dilute the soda. Is that ridiculous? They could have easily made a new one with no soda water.

In the end they took my drink back for 'repair', and truly they just gave me the same drink diluted with a bit of water. Didn't even give me the courtesy of asking if it was okay, just dropped it on my table and...

Made my way to Chinatown just for this, even though I was due to catch a flight, because I saw glowing reviews online. However, I was left HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED by the service staff on duty on 2 March 😭 I was the only dine-in customer with one Grab rider in the eatery and the two staff STILL managed to forget my lei cha order. 10 minutes in, I saw them taking other customers’ orders (they came in after me) so I felt like I should be polite & let them attend to other customers first so I didn’t bother them about mine. But then they started serving these customers’ orders even tho I ordered first. Then 30 minutes went by and I wished I had chased them on my order earlier cos it’s very obvious they clearly forgot all about it :( So somehow the responsibility now fell on me to remind them of my order, which was then sheepishly prepared at the counter and served to me in less than 3 minutes. I understand that it’s the start of Ramadan and staff might be tired so I didn’t say anything. But there are no lei cha orders apart from mine and the Grab rider’s, the lei cha ingredients are already on the counter and it takes only a few mins to assemble
I find it hard to excuse their negligence. If I didn’t check on my order, I would’ve missed my flight. Sorry I will...

After a few hours walk in nature, we were looking for a refreshing drink. My wife found this place where they serve drinks through
. a hole on the wall? Ok, sure. I like weird stuff.

Our order: Kurocha Jamboo cha

Kurocha was coconut milk and matcha (thick green tea) on top with the base of crushed adzuki beans. I love the combination of matcha and adzuki beans since my childhood. And coconut milk was a nice twist to something I am familiar with. It was refreshing. Coconut milk was lighter than milk, so it worked well after losing a lot of sweat from hiking.

Jamboo cha Jamboo cha contains strawberry purée, matcha, and milk. Not 100% sure what kind of milk, sorry. I thought the strawberry was not chemical/syrup-y at all but very fresh and the hero in the cup.

It was a little over-priced, I would say. But when they served the drink through the whole, green hairy hands came out. It was a fun to experience, so I think it’s worth a try.

They also serve meals and you can sit inside. Laksa pasta dish is something I would try one day, but a little afraid of the price of meals considering the cost of...

This is KL’s hole-in-the-wall cafĂ©, where you order, pay, and get your drinks through a tiny hole. This hole is operated through a cafĂ© facing the main road. To get to this hole, you need to enter the alley beside the cafĂ©. The menu is cleverly designed. There is a rack of laminated cards with names and photos of the beverages. You grab a card from the hooks. Then shake the tambourine and wait for the barista to appear behind the hole. You present your card order and pay through the wall. Your beverage is ready as soon as your buzzer sounds. I believed this hole-in-the-wall (bear paw) cafĂ© originated in Shanghai. With its growing popularity, this interesting concept is being adopted in other countries such as this one. I ordered the MangoCha which costs RM17. If you are in the vicinity of Merdeka Square, Central Market or Chinatown, you can consider making a stop for some drinks here.

I went to their side of the restaurant which got hole in the walls. I saw people on TikTok went there. At first I don't know how to go there but glad that jamboo kl got video on their TikTok to guide on how to get there. I actually wanted try their mango matcha but by the time I arrived there, there isn't any matcha mango was available so I only bought matcha strawberry which tastes amazing. That cost rm 17 and they accept qr code for payment. The staff was friendly and kind. Love how they smile cuz they look kind. The place, drink and service staff was great except the price đŸ„Č it's kinda expensive for me rm 17 cute small size of cup for matcha đŸ„Č
