I came here after midnight, it’s definitely a cool place to hang out with friends, it’s cosy, and I love the ambience. It’s a strategic cafe at the center of KL so you can come here using any public transport cause it’s easier that way. Parking is quite difficult during the day but at night you can just street park.
When I entered the cafe, the smell of the coffee beans is really captivating, it helps stimulating the neurotransmitter to release serotonin and dopamine in me, it helps me calm my mind and release the tension I’ve been feeling. But. I didn’t order coffee. Lol.
I ordered Iced Lemon (6/10), the sourness of the lemon is distinct but not too strong, maybe because of the sparkling. Should squeeze more lemon. The pastries I ordered is a 6.4/10. The croissant is crisp and flaky which is good but the inside is not that airy even though it is soft. I didn’t really get the buttery taste of the croissant but it is still okay for me. The egg tart is tasty! (7.5/10). The pasta is okay (7/10). The coffee? I asked my friend and they said not that bad. Kopi Susu Pisang is 7/10 💫
Kerusi and meja kat dalam tak berapa stabil especially untuk mereka yang berat. Menariknya cafe ini mengamalkan budaya kitar semula!!!! Bagus gila. Ada ruang lepak di luar dan di dalam. Suasana okay cuma maybe aku datang semasa orang lepak bising main card game. Toilet okay. Decoration pun okay. Staff...
Read moreI love everything about Jokopi, but my experience in Kuala Lumpur was a total letdown. They don’t even have their best-selling coffees on the menu, and the pastries are no better. They’re displayed but say they’re out of stock. So many water leaks, unstable chairs and tables for dine-in inside and a broken toilet lock. And to top it off, there’s this ridiculous car blocking the entrance to their cafe. It’s a red Ativa with a sticker that says ‘illest’ on the rider’s side! It’s been there for the whole day, and I can’t even take any full view cafe photos because of it. I went to the cafe around 8am+ until noon, walking around Petaling Street and getting back to the cafe around 4pm but it didn’t make any difference. I think this car belongs to the staff! Come on, parking is just the next building! It’s not that far, just across the street! Not blocking and parking at the sideways where they are not meant...
Read moreWe ordered Kopi Susu Arang (small) (RM14), Kopi Susu Kaya (jumbo) (RM20) and Cokelat Susu Krim (medium) (RM16). The kopi susu arang had gula aren which gives a pretty nice taste to the coffee, but the coffee in itself was just okay-ish. The kopi susu kaya tasted like breakfast toast. But if i had to summarize, the coffee taste was just average. The iced chocolate on the other hand was disappointing - we could only taste the foam and milk with very little taste of chocolate. It was on the sweeter side rather than dark chocolate taste.
Likely wont repeat for the taste. The shop is next to Big Boss HSP so we stayed for the vibe and fries.
They have limited seats inside, but they provide with camping chairs to sit on the sidewalk. Some people may not like the environment, so its really a matter of preference. Plus point is that the cashier was very nice and...
