I was a bit intimidated because I saw about 15 men and only one woman there and sometimes you feel stares as a foreigner, which usually you want to avoid. Anyway, I sat there and got some goodies because the food seemed good. It looked clean enough and fresh.

I wanted to pay with the grab app. There are was no wifi and I didn't have data so, the guy in charge (I think his name was something like Salung) was chill and told me to not worry, to eat and that I could pay later. I took a picture of the QR code, head back to my hostel where I had wifi, then sent it to my Facebook messenger and then scanned it from my phone to my laptop and made the payment. It was 5 rm for this. I think it was a good price. People did offer drinks but weren't too pushy about it either. I liked the canai a lot and the garbanzo. The roti itself was good, but not the best I have had. I think I will still come back again since I liked the flavor of the food and is near by me.

I wonder if they are on happy cow. I wish they had some greens too. I would definitely buy some veggie portion.

I liked that the person in charge had good English and acted kind and...

This is on the spot review. An honest one and coming from someone with deep understanding of Indo/Pakistani cuisine.

There is no parking nearby so walking or being driven is best.

The food is just amazing and authentic taste, not diluted to meet local palate.

Capati is served piping hot, soft and absorbing when dipped.

They have many gravies but I selected;

  1. toor dal gravy
  2. moong dal gravy (kacang hijau)
  3. chicken curry
  4. fish curry

All above are delicious, spicy & tangy. The owner is not shy with taste & flavour.

The fresh milk tea (susu lembu) is thick, strong if you asked for "kaw" and hot. I had two cups and it was so satisfying.

Price is cheap

Also samples were veg samosa and vadai Both were equally good although the vadai I would have preferred crispier and darker.

Restaurant is hot but ok, it is eat & go kind of place not to sit and sip and chat.

Will I recommend this place? Not a shadow of doubt, this is the best punjabi restaurant for...

This is one of our go to places for breakfast. However, if you want Instagram worthy spot, this place is not for you, you can go across the street. This place only serves REAL good food!

We always come here for breakfast after our daily run. The chapati has to be one the fews that are really good. Fluffy, warm and soft. Their side dishes are really good too. Personally one of the best chicken varuvals I’ve had. in fact most of their dishes are good. Husband loves their sardine or lamb, I just prefer chicken more 🤪

Definitely a homey spot, but that’s how we like it. Price wise is also very affordable. RM18 you can get a complete meal of 2-4 chapatis, 2 drinks and 3 side dishes. Cheap and fulfilling. Not to...
