Honest review
I’m a big fan of Nando’s. I wrote this in hoping Nando’s can improve from it so that I can enjoy the delicious meal again in Nando’s.
Portion is very small and the price on the meal is pricey. I hope Nando’s management can look into it as the chicken chop show in picture is rather small piece and the price is RM 32.90 with 2 side. As for the side dish, suppose to have 10options. However, at the peak of lunch hour, Caesar salad is sold out, change to coleslaw, then no more also, then change to potato wedges. Orders were placed and paid at 12.15pm but I get the food at 1.10pm which my lunch hour is complete out. With such long waiting hour, and serve with small portion and running out of options on side dish, overall I feel Nando’s is not ready to serve large crowd as the restaurant size. Staffs (I don’t blame then as I also an employee as well) were rather stressful when flood in orders with running out of ingredients. Customers (not just me) have to keep asking and chasing over their paid meal.
I feel Nando’s management need to take seriously take a review and cross check on the food portion with the price, food supply with the kitchens staffs and the kitchen size with restaurant. Staffs also need supports not just the incentive but rather an operation system to cross checking each part does it’s work accordingly.
The Nando’s apps was a horrible system. Printed such nice hard copy menu but put in apps and request customer to make payment first then serve with food that’s totally not what I have order in the first place like a cheating act.
I hope to enjoy Nando’s food again not just with the amazing restaurant interior design, but also serve great food with reasonable price and the portion that’s justify with the...
Read moreThis not a review about its food. This a complaint about their take away order process. The 2 star is for their customer service SOP for take away. As I stood in front of their restaurant looking to order take away, I was approached by a staff who explained to me the new online order process. I told them since I’m there can I just order directly from them since it’s just a straight order nothing complicated. The staff explained that they can’t and customer is supposed to order only online by scanning a QR code. Ok … that seems rather customer unfriendly. As I scanned the QR code, after selecting my orders I realized there’s no remarks for me to indicate which part of the quarter chicken I wanted which is usually the case when I order with staff dining in. So I spoke to the staff againasking her about it, then she said she can tell the kitchen directly about the part I wanted. As I proceed with my orders, there’s a warning that my order will take at least 30mins. Again I called the staff to check and she said it can be quicker than that, probably 20 mins. Ok then, but before I’m asked to make payment there’s a long terms & conditions page which I need to read and click agreed ! After speed reading through the legal terms which is so unnecessary and waste of time, I reluctantly clicked agreed. As I thought I could finally complete my order, the next page came up and asked for my personal details like name, email & phone contacts. I think there’s probably much more but at that point in time I was so fed up with the whole process and having wasted my previous time, I decided I will never order any take away from Nandos anymore. This business is totally not...
Read moreI recently visited Nando's and had a mixed experience. While the ambiance was pleasant, with a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere, the food left much to be desired. I ordered the classic Peri-Peri chicken, which is supposedly their specialty, but it didn’t live up to the hype. The chicken was dry, and the seasoning was surprisingly bland, lacking the spicy kick I expected.
Moreover, the portion sizes were disappointing considering the high prices. Paying a premium price, I expected a more flavorful and satisfying meal, but it felt like I was paying more for the brand than the actual food quality. The sides, such as the Peri-Peri fries and coleslaw, were also underwhelming. The fries were soggy and lacked the crispiness, and the coleslaw tasted quite generic.
On the positive side, the service was friendly and efficient. The staff was attentive and ensured we were comfortable throughout our meal. However, the overall dining experience didn't justify the cost. For the price point, I anticipated a more memorable and delicious meal. Given the reputation Nando's has, I was expecting much better quality and taste. It might be a while before I consider giving Nando's...
