Pacific Bar KL — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

I don’t usually do review unless it’s worth it. So if you’re reading this, I genuinely write it in pure honesty and based on what I experience.

Fun facts: I never step on Bukit Bintang ever since I think it’s not safe for a lady to go out on herself in that area. I still do believe but it’s not that bad. Just got to be careful and best to go with friends.

As a person who loves to have a good time and have high standards for music and the environment of a bar. I would definitely recommend this place . I’m new in KL and have being exploring as much bars that I could get something similar as home in Sabah. This would be the place. We went there yesterday and we had a good time. In the beginning, we were a bit scared since it’s just us 2 ladies. There were some creeps but it is somehow normal in any pub/bars/ club (sadly). However, want made us stayed was the staff. Our waiter who served us made sure we are always safe and even talk to the other guys or other table who tried to bother us to respect our boundaries and don’t go over line. All of the staff was very friendly and genuinely care of our safety and made sure no one was to take advantage or harm us. I really salute this kind of hospitality and it should be this way. Not all pub/bars or club really care about or dare to be involve in this matter. We went off to another bar and enjoyed a little but we decided to come back again and stayed until the closing time. This really shows how comfortable we are and truly enjoy our time here. Also as a person who doesn’t really do dancing, this place made me took over the dance floor and enjoyed myself. They did mention that on Friday, Saturday & Sunday there’s a live band show which I’m truly excited to come and visit again! I might be a regular customer now😂

On extra note for KL pricing of alcohol, I would say it is in the decent price range and they have multiple choice of alcohol.

Music genre: HipHop, Latin, Indian, Latest Pop Song. Mix so you will definitely vibe and get on your feet if you really love music.

Do yourself a favour and do not eat here! And don't come in for just 1 beer or cocktail. They've got some kind of scam going (all day and night happy hour?) Where you have to buy 3 drinks or pay an EXHORIBANT FEE for 1. I ordered a Greek salad that came as a cucumber salad with at the most 2 cherry tomatoes sliced up real small, 3 small.pieces of green pepper and a few small.chunks of.feta cheese. if you're going to offer Greek salad (that looks yummy in the menu) then at least make it the way its seen. And if you don't have olive oil and lemon juice and Greek herbs then dont have a greek salad on the menu. l sent the salad back immediatley and said i wasnt paying for it. Two stars overall with the staff being the highlight of my visit.

They were friendly for my visit to have a meal.

I tried the fish 'n' chips based on the waiter's recommendation and they were some of the worst I've ever tasted. The portions were small and the fish and the breading were tasteless with zero flavor. There were a small handful of chips and they were nothing to be pleased about. The dish was served with a side of mayo which was the only thing decent to dip the chips in. I asked for ketchup and was given two bottles; one of which was spicy. Then, I asked if they had tartar sauce for the fish, but I was given soy sauce. A very lackluster meal.

I then asked for dessert, but despite having a few menus on their dessert menu, they were not serving dessert that day.

At least the Coke...
