My English husband said the siw yuk he had here was easily the best, super crispy on the crackling skin as expected and juicy and tender meat inside, ...very comparable to the ones we would go to settle our craving at Gen don, Kota Damansara. The price seems quite similar as well as the variations of the all the rest meats such as, char siw, duck, chicken, etc of course, wantan mee, dumplings, beansprout, sour cabbage, oak choy etc. Here the mix option for duck and chicken I had was great too. In fact, my husband had to ask for a replacement of the fatty siw yuk to more leaner part of the pork, that's already addressed upon ordering anyway, but to our surprise, the siw yuk rather came as almost all fatty meats only, which he never eats. So we politely requested the staff to replace it with the lean siw yuk part. The staff was totally understood, and brought a leaner siw yuk, which my husband was really enjoying after all. Plus, that made him take away 200 grams extra for around rm23 as well. For my little son, he was certainly enjoying the wantan mee and minced pork mixed veggies dumplings. We will come back for sure, highly...
Read moreToday, I had brunch at this restaurant with a cup of coffee, two half-boiled eggs, and toasted bread with kaya and planta. At the same time, I ordered a plate of wanton noodles. The breakfast set was decent, but the BBQ pork was quite disappointing. I strongly suspect that there were issues with temperature control, either during the preservation of the raw meat or in the grilling process. I'm particularly sensitive when it comes to BBQ pork, and this one had a noticeably unpleasant taste. On top of that, the wontons were hardened when they should have been served soft and tender.
I'm also unsure whether their roasted pork belly is the same as their BBQ pork. I got a takeaway order of roasted duck (lower portion) with two servings of rice and a soup. Unfortunately, the rice was overly salty—so much so that I wonder how others find it acceptable. Drinking more to balance the saltiness isn't a good solution either.
It's clear that the restaurant's standard operating procedures (SOPs) need immediate attention.
Hopefully, there will be some improvements by the time I...

Order a dry wanton noodle, taste good. Good noodle texture, and the dry sauce have a hint of dried meat flavour! Wanton is the good old taste with rice wine in the mince meat.
Chicken rice with roasted pork, rice is good oil fragrance, chicken is tender, and roasted pork skin is cruchy and meat is tender. The chicken rice chili sauce also good, with good level of spicy and sour n saltish to refreshing.
