Service Really bad..this old uncle came to take our order rambling on with his suggestions..when we asked if he had a menu ..he turned back to get one at cashier counter n literally threw it at us... When we remarked menu all in Chinese which we can't read ( albeit we r Msian Chinese) he actually laughed at us for being illiterate in the language !!!
Food We had steamed fish head , cannot complain for the price claypot potato leaves n claypot pork belly....taste not bad but sooooo salty
The final dish was salted egg squid...came with chilli when we asked for no chilli for the kid
They did take it back which was pleasant BUT took sooo long and many enquiries b4 dish came back without chilli
This returned dish was a dish of rubbery over cooked squid strings if u can find them in the mountain of salted flour !!
We told the cashier whose counter was next to our table n she simply said...its like that.
When we asked cashier how does she know as she did not come to our table to c or taste , she simply pointed to the impolite waiter mentioned earlier ...he too say it's like that !!!
Conclusion Will never ever b back n will ensure all friends are aware !
Readers of this posting shd note there many more steamed fish head restaurants in same...
Read moreWent with my colleagues to take our lunch here on Friday. This is a convenient place as our office is nearby. Since it was Friday, our longer lunch break would enable us to enjoy our lunch a little longer than on other days. We ordered their house specialty - a whole steamed fish with ginger, a dish of taufu n bean curd, some stir fry kangkung, black vinegar pork trotters n crispy chicken. We waited for about half an hour n the food came really steaming hot especially the steamed fish with ginger. Everybody really ate n enjoyed the fish except me cos I was afraid of swallowing the small white forked bones. I had a bad experience once n now I don't want to eat such fresh water fish anymore. They said the fish was fresh n tasted yummy. Instead I enjoyed eating the taufu n bean curd which were so soft n the gravy was so tasty. I also enjoyed eating the stir fry kangkung which was fried with the right savoury taste. The black vinegar pork trotters were not bad either except that it came to our table cold. They should have warmed it up instead. The chicken was crispy n yummy too. We managed to finish every morsel of the food. There's no wastage at all. The price was affordable n we shared our the cost amongst us. Reasonably priced for such a good n...
Read moreYesterday my brother took my sister n I to this place for lunch. My sister n my brother -in-law came back from Australia for a short holiday. They longed to eat the Cantonese style of steamed fish which my mum used to cook for the whole family. This was my 1st time there but my brother has eaten this dish which is a house specialty here a number of times. So we ordered steamed fish, a stir-fry vegetable, a taufu n bean curd dish n lastly pork trotters in black vinegar. Everything came out sizzling hot from the kitchen except the last dish of pork trotters in black vinegar. The steamed fish was good but it has a lot of small n fine bones. We must be extremely careful to pick out the bones before eating it. The taufu n bean urd was very good cos the taufu was silky smooth n the bean curd was very fresh. So is the stir fry vegetable- fried with the right sauce. We were happy with all the food we have ordered. The price was reasonable too. The total bill came to RM147.85 only. One complaint though- at the car park just outside the shop was some fresh dog pooh . Luckily we saw that n didn't step on it. The management should ensure that its surroundings be clean n hygienic...
