Starbucks Menara Hap Seng — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

Dear Starbucks Team,

I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding a recent experience at your Hap Seng branch. As a regular customer, I have always appreciated the quality of service and products at Starbucks, which is why this incident was particularly disheartening.

On my recent visit on 01st March 2025 @ 9.16am, I ordered an Americano coffee, but unfortunately, it was not served at the appropriate temperature. Upon noticing this, I politely informed your staff about the issue, to my dismay the second cup was also lukewarm. This led me to question whether the coffee was genuinely reheated.

As a loyal customer, I value the consistent quality that Starbucks is known for, and this experience has made me reconsider my future visits. I believe that maintaining high standards in service and product quality is vital for customer satisfaction, and I hope that my feedback can help improve the experience for others.

Ordered Oat Milk + Caramel but then didn't notice why the bill spikes to almost RM19 on a small size (tall). Felt it is way too expensive already. Can't get to hear what she said asking me to add what on top which I clearly said Oat Milk n caramel only. One problem with Starbucks are all staff like to dupe customers into adding chargeable add-ons onto their orders. I should asked too before paying on how they derived the amount before paying but I was on the call hence missed that. I just felt it was too expensive for that size of non-coffee oat milk. I'm guessing I can't afford Starbucks. Will give it a pass...

Absolutely disgusted by what I saw in this Starbucks! Staff member was trimming their nails while working, handling food and making coffee! Left their nail clippings on the floor!

I don’t want to post a picture of them doing this to save them some embarrassment but this is absolutely disgusting and unacceptable from a customer service stand point!
