Starbucks Reserve is meant to be a step up from the normal one but I found it to be subpar to be honest. Tables are littered with drinks and tissues left over by other patrons and not cleared, the latte I ordered was awful for ‘Reserve’ standards (no coffee flavour but over powered with milk … I thought Reserve is for true coffee aficionados?), service is incredibly slow for such a large venue (two poor guys working the counter- one taking orders and the other one making it). I don’t know why but they had some promo (not properly explained to me), but my latte (I ordered a small and got a large) was $10? 🙃 Can’t complain there haha. The experience here is nothing like the Reserve in Singapore or Italy. Feels like just a normal Starbucks but with the lofty prices and nicer interior design- kudos on that and the sitting areas are comfy. Of course, the free wifi is present which is great for travelers with no data but it fades in and out sporadically :( The music is too loud for patrons seated to hear their orders. Forcing customers to have to shout over it when trying to have a conversation, making the space noisier than it needs to be. The place is quite big as it takes in an L shaped like space but the air conditioning is incredibly cold and I had to change seats until I found a spot that was away from the cold blast of air from the ceiling. Biggest peeve is all drinks use single use packaging instead of usual ceramic cups and saucers or glass- incredibly disappointing for a multinational company and especially for Reserve.. what happened to Malaysia’s No Plastic campaign? Makes me question what is Starbucks corporate values on...
Read moreThis branch is always my fave, but the very first time I wanted to leave a review because I felt offended that I’m not being served when I was the first one to queue. I rarely leave a bad review with high rank stars but this really disappointed me.
I was lining on the wrong counter which the staff actually saw me lining up but took the order for the person behind of me instead. I have voiced out that I’m first to be there, but of course the customer behind me doesn’t have that sense to let me take the order but keep occupying the space. The staff replied that another side is the counter, then I was expecting her to take my order first perhaps?
But nope she just proceeded with the person who came later than me. I was so disappointed as this is a reserve branch, I thought the staff should be more aware about this. End up I just walked away, maybe the staff is too busy? Idk but I really hope this will not happen to other customers.
If there’s only one counter is being used just put a sign there…. Don’t tell a customer who waited to order and end up not taking his/her...
Read moreWaited almost one hour for bfast… and the second time I followed up, they told me tuna sandwich is finished!!! I watched about 6 tuna sandwiches pass through me to people who ordered after me!!!! I was waiting at the counter the whole time and saw almost 10 people behind me who got their orders before me… grrrrr!!! I specifically asked my husband to eat at Starbucks coz I wanted to eat their tuna sandwich… :( I actually finished drinking my coffee standing at the counter waiting for bfast… and my husband had to leave before the order came… which totally defeated the purpose of coming 40mins early so we can have bfast together before his work!!! You should make sure that you fulfill the orders in the same sequence that the orders were placed… I understand that you were understaffed (only 3 people working at the counter taking orders and preparing the orders) so I really tried to patiently wait but almost an hour is just too much especially coz I couldn’t get the food I originally ordered coz my order...
