Unfortunately my experience isn't similar to everyone else who's been here. Upon arrival, we were not greeted. And it's obvious as they're understaffed. The place's atmosphere is nice and very green, but it is quite hot given the open setting and the weather as well. The toilet was very clean. We found our seat, it was quite packed at lunch hour. But no one instructed us how to place an order. My mom had to ask the chef/owner, to which he passed a booklet for us to write our order. The menu was decently stated on the black board, it's good that not too many options given which will confuse people. We ordered the following, and this is my feedback. It took almost 45mins to get everyone's order: 1. Chicken Curry with Vegetables and Rice (RM14) - The way the food was plated was not appetizing. Like someone just threw the rice and veges on the plate. Colors didn't appetize. Curry was ok, a bit like ready made taste with coriander leaves added. The rice was slightly mushy and the mixed vegetables were okay. Overall, below average. 2. Murtabak Chicken (RM7) - This was okay, but you don't get the crisp outer like from the night markets. The filling was generous - mushrooms, chicken, carrots, corn, and onions, but not so flavorful. It was served with a similar curry as the rice set. It was a thick murtabak, with one side burnt. Overall, average. 3. Lamb Sandwich (Today's Special) (RM15) - I'm sorry but it's far from special. The only part which was nice is the bread which was toasted well, but the filling was not up to the standard sandwich at all. Dry, shredded lamb pieces with tomato slices and butter lettuce. Some dried herbs were sprinkled in and on the top of the sandwich. No sauce to bind all the filling, or even any dressing on the leaves to create a bit of a pleasing mouth feel. I struggled to even eat this. Very disappointed. Drinks we had Original Lassi, Teh "C", and Orange Juice (when I actually ordered Lime Juice). I just got no energy to argue at this point. Our bill came to RM57 for 3 pax. No service charge, because there wasn't any actual. A bit unorganized with dishes not cleaned off the table once people left, and their sink area had unwashed plates even on the floor. Of course, the owner and server had a smiling face and he was decent to apologize that they were too busy to entertain us. But that doesn't make up for the food quality given. Will I visit again? Probably if there's an update they have hired more people, then I guess their food and service would improve, and I may visit again.

I recently visited the cafe and had a fantastic dining experience! The food was absolutely delicious and the cafe itself is a cozy and inviting space with beautiful greenery that adds to the relaxing atmosphere. It’s a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a delicious meal. Murtabak with Curry: The murtabak was perfectly crispy on the outside and filled with flavorful goodness inside. Fruit Salad with Yogurt: The fruit salad was a refreshing treat. The combination of fresh fruits like watermelon, dragon fruit, and peaches, topped with creamy yogurt, was both healthy and satisfying. Smoothies: The creamy banana smoothie and the watermelon smoothie were both incredibly tasty, refreshing and fresh Chicken Sandwich: The chicken sandwich was well-prepared with tender, flavorful chicken, fresh lettuce, and deliciously toasted bread. The owner was exceptionally kind and helpful. He took the time to ensure that each dish was prepared to perfection and he checked in to make sure we were enjoying our meal. I highly recommend Patma's Cafe for anyone looking for a great meal with a variety of tasty options.

I've been to many cafes in melaka and I have to say Patma is by far one of the sweetest person I've met. The moment I stepped into the cafe, I was greeted with a friendly smile. We ordered the Roti canai telur bawang, kaya and butter toast bread, milo and kopi milk. The food was served within 10-15 mins which was understandable considering he's the only person running the cafe. The roti was accompanied with hot dhal on the side and was quite fragrant. Could definitely taste the rich telur and bawang flavour. Our total was RM15 which was quite reasonable. When I was about to leave, Patma even showed me his small garden. I wouldn't say the food here is out of this world but I would definitely visit this cafe again to try the other items on the menu:)) The only downside is the cafe only has a mini fan which could be quite hot during the afternoons. Update: tried patma's egg sandwich and french toast and it was delicious!

I went to this cafe for a few years already. The place is very clean and quiet. The service is very good. The owner of the cafe is very nice and kind to communicate with fluent English. The main dishes, such as Chicken Varural & Vegetable Rice, Egg, and Vegetable Rice, are very nice to eat. Besides that, Murtabak Chicken & Murtabak Vegetables are another delicious choice to try. Furthermore, the Local Indian Cuisine - the Roti Canai series, such as Plain, Egg & Onion, Cheese, Pizza, Banana, Mixed Fruit(Recommended) are very pleasant to eat too and served with Dhall(Very nice taste) or Chicken Curry, the owner will let you know the sauce for the day. Moreover, the cafe delicious Sandwiches using Homemade Bread that served with Chicken, Cheese, Egg, or Vegetable as well as Toast in Butter & Kaya or French Style can be a choice for bread lover too. Last but not least, the cafe Lassi or Milk Shake fruit drinks is very pleasant to drink, too, such as the Cucumber, Pandan and Dragon Fruits, the Fruit Juice such as Orange Lime, Pineapple and...
