Thursday, Oct 26th dinner. After reading the reviews, we decided to stop over to check out. The set up of the restaurant is simple, service is quick and price is relatively cheap.

We ordered everything small size so that we can order more variety.

Overall, it is a satisfying meal. Home cook flavor and not too salty unlike other restaurants nowadays. The restaurant closes at 8pm.

We were the last customer to leave the restaurant. We had a chat with the owner and he was friendly.

Give this restaurant a try. If you are living at Hatten Hotel, just walk through 7-Eleven and by the back alley. It is parallel to 7-Eleven (somewhat). Just walk through the back alley, 2 streets down. Use Google maps to check location. This is a restaurant in the Taman Melaka Raya area. It has a simple and quiet setting.

It serves a wide variety of local dishes. The mee goreng is spicy and good. The Hokkien fried bee hoon is good too.

The drink options are like the usual coffee shop options.

Service is fast.

Cleanliness is good.

Prices are good and many dishes are really good value for the prices. Cash, credit cards and e-wallets are accepted here.

Parkings are mainly roadside parkings with a few parking areas nearby. During peak hours, getting a parking lot may slightly difficult.

Went here for dinner. We are visiting from the UK. The food portion sizes by western standards were on the small side, despite ordering medium. We also wondered if we paid some “tourist tax” as unfortunately we noticed we were charged for 2 large rices but we are pretty sure they were small portion. I’d over order if you are considering eating here and are hungry! The food itself was pretty good, had sweet and sour chicken, rice, omelette and mixed veg (although it was only one type of veg actually). Came out very quickly.
