Hotel Johan — Hotel in Malacca

When you are planning to go for a medical check up at Mahkota Hospital Melaka, this hotel would be a right place to stay during your activities at Mahkota Hospital. If you are planning to stay in a budget hotel.||||The price for this hotel is not the cheapest, it is also not cheap amongst the budget hotel around, but again it comes back to all the convenience it provides when you are going to Mahkota Hospital.||||This hotel has two entrances:||1. One entrance is the one that takes you to the main road where you can find all sorts of foods and amenities such as mini market, pharmacies, foot reflexology, etc.||2. The other entrance is the one that takes you to the back alley that leads you straight to the main entrance of 24 Hours Emergency section of Mahkota Hospital. It takes only 2-3 minutes to get you to Mahkota Hospital. But this entance is closed at 10 PM for security purposes and will be opened in the morning.||Overall this hotel is located not far from all the shopping centre around this area and all is a walking distance.||||Besides the surrounding facilities, the room is spacious and gives you more room to enjoy during your stay, especially when you take an ill person for a medical check up. Of course they need to relax and feel comfort before medical action taken.||||The service provided was only the room, no breakfast included. Take this positively because when you are going for a medical check up, normally you need to take a blood test and fasting is required, that means no breakfast before this blood test is done. Reason for 4 stars: -Affordable price for the rooms (i stay in 1 kingsize bed type room) -Toilet is better than im expected -The opposite of rear-The Johan is 7-11, so its very convenient for tourists Very near to Mahkota Hospital (appx. 5-10 mins by walk) -It got a mini area for making coffee, tea, hot water with few tables and 4 chairs for each table and its SMOKING AREA (personal experience, i stayed 3 hotels there are The Trend, The Johan (in front of 7-11) and Estadia Hotel Only The Johan provided a smoking area inside the hotel (not inside the room)
