Restaurant Review: A Disappointing Dining Experience I recently visited this restaurant after being drawn in by a 50% discount promotion. Unfortunately, the experience left me feeling underwhelmed and questioning the value for money. Here’s a breakdown of my visit: Atmosphere ★★★★☆ (4/5) The restaurant has a cozy and inviting vibe with wooden tables and tasteful decorations. Since it’s located inside a mall, the air conditioning keeps the space comfortable, making it a pleasant spot to sit and relax. However, the ambiance didn’t quite make up for the other shortcomings. Service ★★★☆☆ (3/5) The ordering process is straightforward—you place your order at the counter, and the staff delivers it to your table. While the staff was polite, it took about 10 minutes for our food to arrive, which is reasonable but not particularly fast. The service was average, with no standout moments of hospitality. Food ★★☆☆☆ (2/5) The food was disappointing overall. The portions were noticeably smaller than advertised, and the quality didn’t justify the price. • Chicken Katsu Cromburger ★★☆☆☆ (2/5): The burger looked promising at first glance, with fresh and soft bread. However, the chicken was tough and difficult to chew, which ruined the dish. I added scrambled eggs and vegetables for an extra RM8, but they were bland and didn’t add much flavor. • Chicken Pepperoni Croissant ★★★☆☆ (3/5): This dish fared slightly better than the cromburger. The croissant was flaky and buttery, but the chicken pepperoni filling lacked seasoning and excitement. It was edible but not memorable. The overall taste of the dishes felt uninspired, with no standout flavors or attention to detail in preparation. Price ★☆☆☆☆ (1/5) This is where things went downhill fast. The 50% discount promotion was misleading—it only applied if you ordered an overpriced drink. I ended up ordering a Bloody Mocha with Cheese for nearly RM17, which was overly sweet and gimmicky. With additional charges like RM8 for scrambled eggs, my total bill for two people came to almost RM78 after taxes. For this price, I expected much higher quality food and larger portions. Parking - N/A Since this restaurant is located inside a mall, parking depends entirely on the mall’s facilities. It wasn’t an issue during my visit, but this will vary based on location and time of day. Final Verdict: Not Worth Revisiting With its tricky marketing tactics, overpriced menu items, and below-average food quality, I won’t be returning to this restaurant anytime soon. While the atmosphere was pleasant enough, it doesn’t make up for the lackluster dining experience or poor value for money. If you’re looking for better options in this price range, there are plenty of other restaurants that offer superior quality at a fairer price. Ideal Times to Visit: If you’re still curious about trying this place despite its flaws, visiting during off-peak hours might ensure faster service and a quieter atmosphere. Are you looking for a memorable, unique drink experience after the bubbletea sensation that swept the nation? Hailing from Japan, Chizu may become your next drink craze! Be ready for an interesting menu which combines frothy Japanese cheese with a growing variety of drinks from fragrant teas, rich chocolate and even fruit juices! The Cheese Teas come in 4 core flavors - Jasmine Green Tea, Premium Red Tea, Season Tea, and Japanese Roasted Oolong Tea. Depending on the season, Chizu will also introduce seasonal/promotional teas to spice up their menu. You can also choose the strength of the cheese foam to go with these teas, from a mild taste towards the super pungent cheese foam. To maximize the cheesy goodness, Chizu even has a recommended set of steps on how best to savor your drinks. Just lift the flap and tilt the cup at a 45-degree angle, so that you can sip both the top cheese and bottom layers of your Chizu Drink at the same time. Regardless of which cheese drink you opt for, their cups are designed so that you can consume the drink without a straw, and you will find yourself having a cute little cheese foam mustache that is very Instagrammable. The blending tastes of the milky cheese and drink underlays creates a refreshingly new flavor that cheese lovers are bound to enjoy! Asides from their drinks, Chizu also offers an assortment of cakes and tarts to relish as well, from blackcurrant delight to praline chocolate, and for the cheese enthusiast, even more cheesecakes to seal the cheesy deal. The available cake flavors are rotated fairly often, so customers can reasonably expect a different taste every time they visit! To satisfy your cheesiest cravings, do give Chizu a try!

Had the matcha red bean cheese drink today. Highly recommended by the waiter. The waiter look very aggressive in promoting the drinks. Was told the jasmine green tea is the best seller. Anyway the match red bean tea is good. But wish the cheese taste could be thicker. And oh. Please remember to use boost to pay. You get 50% cashback the next day. Well worth it for RM6. After payment you get to shake the app then i got another RM1 free from boost. My total cost for the drink is only RM5 in the end. This promo ends this month august 2018. I think this shop recently open in 1 utama. Previously it was a korean bingsu i think. Thank god the korean bingsu is no longer there. Opposite the chizu is honzu. I think is the same company by them. The honzu sells bakery. This abit off topic. But the bread smells real good. But sadly they dont run offer for boost app. If not i sure will go get it. Okay la. Dont run topic liao. This drink overall okay for the price of RM5. i will not pay more for it. No boost jiu no chizu. Hahaha. Ok. Done.

I am fully aware that due to the current SOP we are only allowed 1 person per table, however aren’t you supposed to arrange your customers judging by the size of the table? On the other hand, it doesn’t matter if the customer dines in or makes a take away, as long as a customer simply orders a drink aren’t they supposed to first check our VACCINATION STATUS? Dis is a standard procedure that the workers need to perform before we enter the premise! Why was it til our seats were made, only their so called “manager” came to scream directly at us in the mere public saying tat we did 2 things wrong. Firstly about our vaccination status (excuse me! dis was to be done before we even set foot into ur cafe. Dis is the job of ur workers!). Secondly, the 1 person per table issue. If we didn’t follow the procedure u desire, do tell us in a proper manner n we would have apologised n gladly shifted accordingly, not EMBARRASSED us in front of the PUBLIC!! Even after all that ruckus, she still had to clarify that she was the “manager”. Well I am truly speechless n have no idea how, with such a disgraceful, supercilious n truculent attitude was she able to rise up to a status as a MANAGER. Wif an attitude like tat u will definitely bring down the cafe’s integrity!👎 I was having a pleasant day but was easily shattered by dis horrible encounter! Never returning to dis cafe in sunway ever again👎 Not just the service provided but most importantly, was ruined by the so called disgraceful “manager”! If u can’t even handle ur worker from following the SOP then please, don’t come around giving orders to customers with ur...
