Been here for so many times, at least once a week since its opening. The quality has degraded very obviously since my first visit.
Below are the foods and drinks I ordered previously:
Firstly, to comment on the noodles, mixian and wonton mee. Most of the time the mixian seemed to be overcooked, bloated, or maybe due to its very "general" quality, many places can offer better mixian at this price. Wonton mee is much more to my liking.
Soup:
Mala (quite thick, sometimes too oily, why sometimes, because the quality varies every time I order)
tomyam (sour + spicy, but not so tomyam, but don't expect too much as it's not a thai restaurant, even you made complaint of its mild taste, they will only help to make it more salty)
pork bone (just plain soup)
dry noodle (really hk style, does not come with much soy sauce, a thumbs up for this)
Ingredient:
prawn wonton (okok, was impressive during first visit, but no more in subsequent visits)
fried wonton (crispy enough, same content as soup wonton)
braised pork knuckle (big portion, worth to try if you like pork, but if you prefer lean meat please skip)
chicken (just some cooked chicken pieces without skin, nothing special)
Bread:
crispy bun served with condensed milk (crispy + buttery + sweet, good snack)
pineapple bun with new zealand butter (not sure why people are so fascinated by it, it is just a crispy layer put on top of a cooked bun. Supposedly it should be cooked together with the bun itself to make them attached, but this is not even a pass. Luckily not many people have high expectation on food)
Drinks:
Cham (sometimes teh more than kopi, sometimes kopi more than teh, but they told that the recipe is fixed. Not sure my problem or theirs, but this is the only drink I will order)
luo han guo (taste heavier than plain water, paid 6.90+ for this, please reconsider)
iced kopi (any hawker stall can serve you better kopi, but this is 7.90+, think twice before you order)
Finally, my only recommendation is curry pork chop with rice.

Read moreThis is ridiculous. We wait for 1 hour only they able to serve our last order. We order 5 meal in total. The 1st 2 orders were served in time, 3rd and 4th were served in about 20min late, but the 5th order was only served 1 hour after we placed in the order. During the waiting time, we reminded the staff 3 times about the final order, and they were just simply asking us to wait without rushing the kitchen. They definitely have bad communication between the waiter and chef.
I would like to give them zero star and never visit anymore. They have plenty of staff here but not in proper management.
Seriously, if someone here comments that the food is nice, they are hired to say so. Put a side the waiting time issue, the food is totally suck. That wanton mee feel like u chewing some uncooked maggi mee, maybe they felt the soy sauce is very expensive. The polo bun signature dish? It taste like what I can get at pasar malam cheap bun. I have only order those, the rest I dun think is nice anyway, as wanton mee is basic stuff, even an amateur can cook it by adding good soy sauce.
About the waiters, they are just bunch of robot who talk and serve with no manner. U are paying 40 over buck for a meal with drink. Their service is worst than what u get in mamak.
This is the 1st time in my life to commend a restaurant with anger. The food and service definitely is not...
Read moreThis is my 2nd visit to this outlet in Sunway Pyramid & had visited Pavilion Bukit Jaill outlet during opening in few year back ago. Total of 3 person dined in, the food served after 5 mins (rice with pork leg) & 10 mins (noodle with pork leg) after we ordered, which was acceptable but the 3rd noodle (prawn wantan) only served after 20 mins of long wait, what is going on? forgot? miss out? no explanation & no apology given. In total, they are not less than 15 staff in the kitchen, don’t tell me that only 1 person cook the noodle with each order only cook at one time (omakase style), unlike in ramen restaurant able to cook 5-10 noodles in one time, it is totally unacceptable. And after we left the restaurant, we felt very thirsty because of over AJINOMOTO MSG in the food. Please improve the food quality, service & operation of the outlet, or just close shop. The Management should check the CCTV on the movement of the fat lady manager without uniform but with lots of mobile phone in her back pocket (left & right), she always sitting at dining table at the back without helping, moving & interact with customer, please investigate & check her performance or ask her to leave without any hesitation or tolerance before she & her team screw up your restaurant & brand...
