Meat Street — Restaurant in Malé

A lovely addition to all the restaurants in Hulhumale'. They have a wide-range of menu options. They provide a paper placemat that serves as an entertainment while waiting for food. You can answer the crossword puzzle or find the words to a word search. My husband ordered the Beef Ribeye Steak while I had the Bianco Parmesan. We also ordered the nachos. We enjoyed everything. The service was splendid. The interior wasn't really amazing but it was decent. I definitely recommend it to everyone. And I will come back to try the other food they offer.

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Meat Street and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable, making excellent recommendations from the menu. We started with the Buffalo Wings and Nachos which was a perfect blend of flavors and textures. The presentation was impeccable, and each bite was a delightful experience. For the main course, we chose the Arabian Mandi and Steak and it exceeded all my expectations. The dish was cooked to perfection, with every ingredient complementing each other harmoniously. The seasoning was spot on, and the portion size was generous. To top it all off, we indulged in the Sizzling Brownie and Cold Cheese Cake which was the perfect end to a fantastic meal. It was rich, decadent, and beautifully presented. I visited this place because the Google reviews were mostly positive, but my experience was quite mixed.

Communication was difficult as the staff spoke only approximate English—I had to repeat myself several times just to order. One young waitress seemed sleepy or unmotivated, dragging her feet around the restaurant. Another server was chewing gum while working, which I personally find unprofessional.

There was also a man standing behind the counter who didn’t attend to customers waiting in the dining area, which felt a bit neglectful.

A strange detail: the kitchen appears to be connected to the restroom, which raised some hygiene concerns.

Also, be aware that staff rather insistently ask customers to leave a Google review after paying, which might explain the overly positive ratings.
