I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Manhattan fish market recently, and it was an unforgettable seafood experience! From the moment we sat down, we were treated to impeccable service and a warm, inviting atmosphere.
The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the seafood platter (see attached image). It was a feast for the senses, beautifully presented with an array of fresh, perfectly cooked seafood. The lobster was tender and succulent, the prawns were bursting with flavor, and the mussels were divine. Every bite was a testament to the chef’s skill and the quality of the ingredients.
What really stood out was the attention to detail—each component of the dish was seasoned to perfection, and the accompanying salad added a refreshing balance to the richness of the seafood.
Paired with a crisp glass of white wine, this meal was truly a delight. I can’t recommend manhattan fish market enough for anyone looking to indulge in top-tier seafood in a cozy and elegant setting. We will definitely...
Read moreWe have had both good and poor experiences here. The location you can not fault, top of Centro Mall providing a good view over Hulhumale or of the night sky. There is also indoor AC seating which is decorated as per the brand. It does lack personality, the team may say 'guest in' 'guest out' followed by a chorus of welcome or goodbye and thank you but you know their hearts are not actually in it. Service can also be a bit hit or miss depending on which server you get on the day. The menu is extensive but that is obviously easy to do when it's not being made from scratch on site. The large mixed seafood platters I personally found to be very greasy and are definitely made for sharing between 2 or even 3 people. The pasta dishes I have had a little more success with but they can lack seasoning, the same goes for the foil baked fish. However, the desserts never fail to disappoint and we would willing head here just for coffee and their sizzling...
Read moreI visited the Manhatten Fish Market to enjoy a nice meal on their rooftop during my stay in Hulumale. View isn't anything spectacular, but nice to enjoy the evening and get some fresh air.
I tried the delicious local delight: Chilli Boava for 150mvr and a nice lemongrass cooler for 40mvr. Prices aren't outrageous, okay for a night out, but definitely more expensive to most local places in the area.
I enjoy both spicy food and seafood so the chilli Boava was perfect for me. ♥️ It's made with octopus braised in curry leaves, chilli, garlic, cloves, onions, pepper and coconut oil; and served with a side of Roshi. Heavenly! I definitely recommend this dish to anyone who enjoys a high amount of spice in their meal like me.
The lemongrass cooler was also a perfect edition to the meal, very refreshing.
Overall, service was fast and friendly and I...
