Wow if I could give more stars I would! This restaurant is a gem in the middle of a mixed Cabo food scene. Location is excellent. Right across from the main square, which is a perfect option for Friday night as you get front row seats to the art walk, they even set up additional tables on the street since the road is closed off. The service is fantastic, there is a team of servers, server assistants buzzers and a manager constantly circulating all the tables and working together to deliver food and drinks quickly. The hostess is so kind and welcoming , I had a reservation for 8:30 but as we were already in the square for art walk at 6:30 she was able to squeeze us in earlier thank you for being so accommodating. Food is Mediterranean, with a focus on Italian , plenty of fresh made pastas , seafood and steak, portions are generous and presentation is excellent and prices all around very reasonable. We ordered the steak and fettuccine and my fiancé the chicken Parmesan , a Greek salad to start and he a mezcalita and I a glass of Sauvignon followed by Cabernet Sauvignon. Both our meals were delicious. My dish included portobello mushrooms and gruyere cheese, it was decadent, and the chicken Parmesan wasgenerously layered with marinara and Parmesan. Bonus points to the whole staff especially the manager who acted quickly when my fiancé had a low blood sugar rush. We had forgotten to eat lunch and after beginning to eat his blood pressure dropped quickly, he was feeling faint I alerted the server and manager who quickly brought him orange juice and turned on the a/c, within moments he was feeling normal, but if it wasn’t for their speedy and discreet action it would’ve turned out differently. This is an a phenomenal restaurant, a staple of the Cabo food scene and now we know why, they treat every guest wonderfully and we can’t wait to go back thank you...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I went for dinner on our last night in Cabo San Lucas at Invita Bistro and we were blown away by the quality of service we received. From personalized wine recommendations to the attentive nature of our servers to our delicious appetizers and main course, the staff ensured that we had an incredible evening. We got a table on the patio - the entire restaurant has an open air vibe - and it looks out into a little town square on a quiet one way street. It is a nice break from the crazy hustle bustle around the downtown bar area and seems a bit more authentic back there. The menu has a lot of variety - everything looked so yummy it was so hard to choose! Our servers gave great tips and we ended up ordering a fantastic meal! My boyfriend had the fried calamari as an appetizer and then had the lasagna and I had the minestrone soup as my appetizer and the spaghetti aglio olio as my main and we both shared the bruschetta. Our meal was lovely and very reasonably priced (even the wine was well priced which was awesome because we got two bottles of it). They also bring you out a basket of a variety of fresh baked bread and two different olive oil type dips to have with it. My goodness the dips were good and the bread was loved by both my boyfriend and myself.
All in all, we can’t say enough great things about this hidden gem of a restaurant. These two Canadians will definitely go back next tine we are in Cabo. If you want great service and great, look no other than Invita Bistro. We were on the patio for three hours tonight eating and drinking and totally could have stayed longer. It really was a...
Read moreI had a short stay in Cabo, because I was only there to board a liveaboard diving boat that operates a trip to Socorro from the local marina. While visiting the liveaboard's host dive shop, since I arrived early in the afternoon and had already checked into my hotel, I happen to stumble upon this restaurant a few doors down the street.
The menu they posted out front looked like it would satisfy about any pallet, so I really wanted to give this place a try. I asked the host if I could get a table for two that evening and she was able to fit us in at one of their latest seatings and to please be on-time (They were very busy during this particular evening, because it was at the beginning of the high-season). This was not an issue for me, because my traveling companion was arriving later anyway and would still need time to check into the same hotel as me.
My traveling companion arrived a little bit early than expected, so we decided to arrive at the restaurant one half-hour early and was able to get a very nice table without having to wait until our designated reservation time.
I am so glad we got to experience this restaurant, because it was absolutely one of the best decisions I made for our first dinner in Cabo. The food was wonderful, the atmosphere was pleasant and the service from Eduardo (our waiter) was amazing. Very reasonable prices and portion sizes, with lots of Vegetarian options available (I am a vegetarian, but my traveling companion is not).
We were so impressed with the dining experience here, that we returned for dinner the...
