Went looking for Turkish style coffee in the Medina and google maps led me to near this cafe. The young man running the business (family business) was so lovely and engaging, wanted to offer the best coffee and best service. He invited me to video and take photos as he made the coffee in the hot sand. Was Turkish coffee with the Moroccan spices added in, very tasty. And not expensive. He has seats in the laneway which is where I sat so I could watch everything happening around me, small area with seating edge of laneway or a small terrace which I visited and found to be very quiet so would be great if wanted to escape the hustle and bustle for bit. He also sells spices, herbs, teas, oils etc if you interested but he did not push for me to buy anything just gave me some to smell. The owner is very welcoming and happy to show you how he makes his coffees and teas, which are delicious. He sells the drinks and the stuff to make them at home at very reasonable prices and doesn’t pressure you to buy anything.
