Almost everywhere in Kathmandu Nepal, a veg thali has repeated fill of veg curry/sabzi, daal and rice whereas here it is not refilled even once, quality is not enough for 1 person with just 2 small roti instead of 3 as shown in picture. The lady managing the kitchen is very rude and aggressive if you ask for more Daal or sabzi, charges are pretty high for that sort of service and food! Received almost Burnt roti and papad. Also the washroom was very smelly and dirty. Very unhygienic toilet to go to.

People reach there in search of pure veg food but the insufficient food quantityto serve even one in one plate, long wait and super arrogant attitude of counter lady is surely a big no to visit this place again! Not...

I just happen to discover this place, since I was staying close by and this was the only place open at that hour. Undoubtedly, one of the most humble and delicious meals I had in Kathmandu. It's rare for me to visit a place again on tours, but, such was it's impact that, I went there again to eat. This place is tucked-in in corner of a ground floor of a building located in a busy lane of Thamel, easy to be missed. Trust me, the food is homely. Whatever you order, you'll not be disappointed. On my first visit, I ordered paneer bhurji with chapati and a missi roti. Next time, it was Thali. On both occasions, I could finish it all by myself, since the portions were large. Highly...

The only vegetarian restaurant serving indian food in Thamel, Kathmandu...the restaurant is a 5 mins walk from hotel Vaishali or hotel Thamel in Thamel...i stayed in kathmandu for 3 days and all the time i ate here only...the owner in Sardarji/Punjabi and here only you know that you are in for a treat! The food is as good as it gets in a place like Thamel, where there is hardly a pure vegetarian restaurant around...The food here isnt restricted to what the menu states...On a special request and if you are nice enough, Sardarji will make you any other dish, if you want...Though small and without any ambience, the place is very decent and a food paradise for...

It’s one the best restaurant serves 100% Vegetarian food including Jain food [without onion, garlic] for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Staff is very kind, humble. Quality and Service is really very very consistent. It’s located on a busy lane of Thamel, bit inside of a building, in corner of ground floor, easy to be missed. Its’s very simple, fresh, reasonably priced, with homely testy food. Their thalis are for better than other and full. I noted their tagline as mentioned ‘If You are satisfied tell others, if not, tell us.” this makes them to serve us better. Finally, Highly recommended 👍👌

Also: Entweder konsumieren wir Milchprodukte UND Fleisch.
