Thakali — Restaurant in Kathmandu Metropolitan City

I heard about this place form a local guide. The other customers were locals so it’s not a very touristy restaurant which I like. You can find it all the way in the back of an alley (took me some time to find it). The food is incredible! I ordered one of their Veg set and my friend had their traditional type of soup. The price for the taste at this restaurant is definitely a steal! While the portion of the Thakali set was initially a bit less, they promptly added more, making it acceptable. I decided to visit them since they had an offer where people visiting from 10am-12pm would get free daal bhat. I arrived at 11:30am and was denied saying there was no seating place and that i was LATE.
