I just had a bad experience RACISM at this place as an Asian. Seriously? The place (outdoor seats) were full so i waited as walk-in and was offered a table finally by a lady staff. I was waiting like 20-25 min to see the menu sitting patiently. A guy staff attended all other tables but mine, even took orders from the girls who arrived later than me. And their orders came out when i didn’t even see the menu. Took another 10-15min to get attention of another staff and was gonna order, he said the table is booked and i need to leave in 20min. i told him this feels racism and he gave me this face 🤨. Visited here for a few glasses of wine on a weekend trip to Amsterdam as a group of two. Did not require a reservation and were seated straight away, it did however appear to be very busy so if you’re able to book then I would.

They serve small plates but no substantial food in the outdoor area, just bar snacks like olives and bread.

One of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve had in Amsterdam. They charged €3.00 per person for tap water and they had the audacity to also charge this amount for my infant son, which is just absurd. The portion sizes are laughable, with plates that look more like tasting samples than meals. The Flat Iron Chicken wasn't enough a whole chicken breast.
