Rosèl Amsterdam - Sandwiches & Coffee — Restaurant in Amsterdam

Rosèl is hands-down one of the best sandwich spots I have been to and I travel a lot. The food was incredibly fresh, full of flavor, and not greasy or messy at all. Everything came out quickly, and the people working there seemed genuinely happy to be doing what they do. The whole vibe was just warm and comfortable.

I really respect a small, focused menu — they only have four sandwiches, which to me shows confidence and skill. Big menus usually scream identity crisis and inconsistent quality, but here every option looked like it had been perfected. I could NOT choose just one, so my friend and I split two: the Spicy Chicken and the Beef Stew.

The Spicy Chicken was my friend’s favorite, and I totally get why. The chicken was super tender, the flavors balanced really well, and there was plenty of filling without being overstuffed. For anyone worried about spice — don’t be. I am from California and have a pretty high spice tolerance, so I did not find it spicy, but more about great flavor, something I find places often sacrifice when going for heat. IT WAS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS.

The Beef Stew was my favorite. It had this rich mix of flavors, and adding the cheese made it even better — definitely worth it.

Honestly, after eating here, I regretted the other sandwich place I went to the day before. I even thought about coming back before my train the next morning but unfortunately my train left too early for me to grab one to go. That’s how much I loved it.

Came here on Friday and ordered the spicy chicken (a bit messy but really tasty) and the Rosèl (Ham and mustard mayo- stunning) both delicious but the Rosèl definitely had the edge.. nice iced caramel latte to wash it down with

Had 2 little chairs outside the shop that we sat on in the sun to eat and it was really nice and peaceful

I really think they would benefit from a couple of little table and chairs but its not a big issue, go and have a short wander and find a nice canal to sit by 😍 if you want to just go somewhere to sit down inside this wouldn't be the place for you but as I said lots of places nearby to go and chill out so dont let it put you off
