*Great beer. But the service. Came on a sunny afternoon to have a tipple and something for my driving brother. Still some seats outside we thought we'd been lucky. We were served by a grumpy man, talking in Dutch - both of us are foreigners living in different countries but DO speak more than one language. Unfortunately the fluent Dutch was not in our repertoire, but were happy to enjoy the hospitality the barman provided - in Dutch. After couple minutes of being lost in translation, meanwhile we were trying to reach our goal, he explained, the MENU IS IN DUTCH, SO ARE THE BEERS. Be aware there is a little place, so come with not too many friends ;-) beside that you will meet interesting people right there ;-)

Read moreWe have just come back here for a drink with our son who is now of age to drink alcohol as last time we went he was not. We have not been for around 8 years and last time we had a lovely time which is why we have gone back. On our visit this time though as soon as we got our drinks and went outside. When we moved the chairs outside slightly to another barrel the waiter with short brown hair charged over and rudely demanded us to move and dragged the chairs back to where they were. In the meantime a large group of American tourists were present and were allowed to walk in and out of the bar and up and down the street with glasses and bottles in their hands being loud continuously- the shirt haired waiter had no issues with them and let them carry on. them and let them carry on without retribution. Donât bother with this place lots of many other nice bars...
