Quite funny, but I didn't know that Holland is famous for its cheeses until I got there. We found this place by accident, but from the beginning it really caught our attention. On the spot you can not only see and buy hundreds of types of cheeses but you can also try them, from classic gouda, gout or Edam to those with beer, pesto or lavender flavors. In addition, there are plenty of great and original sauces to try that go perfectly with these delicious cheeses. We don't regret that we could try so many different flavors and take some back home. Visited this morning after hearing about the cheese shops in Amsterdam online. The gentleman working was an absolute delight, he could not of been friendlier, more helpful, or more informative. He gave us some great information about the cheese and the difference between the cheese there and our local cheeses. He pointed us in the direction of some AMAZING free samples and they where absolutely delicious. We will be going back before out Amsterdam visit is over to get some cheese for when we are back home. Me and my friend were here an hour or so ago, and I got to tell you that these guys had the best and I mean the BEST cheeses in Amsterdam. Firstly, only my friend bought some, but then we went back and I bought some too, we were able to taste their cheeses, and they were the best I have ever tasted. The workers were also super helpful and kind. I defenitely recommed visiting this store. We spent atleast 90 eruos, and I have to say that it was worth every penny. I recommend this to anyone visiting.
