We were here when it was raining bad outside and about 5:30ish. It looked good when we entered and was pretty spacious and nice. There were 2 attendants who were there and 2 more tables other than us which were occupied. All in all wasnt busy. This young guy who was taking our was extremely rude while taking the order itself. Because my kids were hungry and it was raining we just stayed in. The guy showing more attitude when we had few questions about menu items. Our food came on time and it was decent food. We asked for ketchup and they charged a euro for a sachet of mcdonald’s ketchup. Totally insane as we expected chicken nuggets to be served with ketchup. The overall food was brought in with either no sauce or with something we didnt expect right from American standards. We ended paying almost 5 euros for just the ketchup. This is probably the only restaurant which we dined in Amsterdam and felt so humiliated. The other server was i think mid 40s and he seems to be pretty nice even though he didnt talk to us. One of the worst behaviors in Amsterdam. Im not how they are rated with 4.1 stars with such a pathetic staff(probably just that one person. I felt he was their bar tender as well). Anyways our advice there are much better places please AVOID this restaurant or if u have no other choice avoid that Guy (he was pretty young...
Read moreThere are so many reviews about the dry burger and undercooked meat, and I completely agree! 🍔 When we arrived, we weren’t allowed to sit at the table we wanted, and the staff kept hovering over us, which was really uncomfortable. It felt quite unpleasant.
When I asked for extra sauce and ketchup, they gave it to me, but in the end, they charged separately for each additional packet. 🤯 I was really disappointed. I mean, this is the center of Amsterdam, and sauces are not free?! Plus, I feel like they make the burgers dry on purpose. 😂
All in all, I have places to compare it to, and I will never come back here again. Now I understand why it was empty when we arrived. 😬 Unfortunately, this place has a lot to improve. It might be okay for people who are extremely hungry and don’t care, but I won’t be coming...
• Service : Très long.
I’m from Paris and recently had a meal at the Vegas Steak House. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. • Service: Extremely slow. • Cheeseburger: No sauce inside, and the condiments like mayonnaise and barbecue sauce were charged extra, which was not mentioned when ordering. Additionally, the burger came with just one slice of tomato. • Lasagna: It looked and tasted more like mashed potatoes than actual lasagna.
When it was time to pay, the host explained that splitting the bill is not usually allowed, but he was making an exception to “help us out.” I then suggested they make this clear in the future to help customers differentiate their orders. Despite this, when we politely asked to split our orders, he refused and told us to do it ourselves.
What surprised us was that after we complied, the host labeled us as “disrespectful.” This was uncalled for, especially since we spoke calmly, politely, and with courtesy.
Honestly, the situation and the words used were blown out of proportion for such a simple customer request. I do not recommend this restaurant—the service, hospitality, and food quality are not worth it....
