Creole's Bar & Eatery — Restaurant in Hibiscus and Bays

The bar itself at Creoles is great! A nice garden bar out the back to relax new pool table, great selection of food and drinks .. But One thing let's this bar down, that is a young Asian male who works behind the bar.

Walking into Creoles I said hi to the young guy, he looked at me and said nothing - he went back to staring at his phone. I thought this was a one off incident and thought the guy was just having a bad day

The more I went into Creoles his attitude is the same - unhappy, no positive energy, no warm welcomes to patrons all he does is have a sour look on his face the whole time.

The rest of the staff at Creoles are actually all very friendly! They are always welcoming and make you feel good to be spending money with them. However this one guy let's the whole place down.

I have talked to numerous other people about this guy and they all said the same thing - the guy obviously does not like his job and doesn't care about his customers.

I will not be going back to Creoles until I hear from friends the young man had changed his attitude or that he is no longer working there

The venue looks clean and tidy. The atmosphere is let down by the guy behind bar having no sense of hospitality and being extremely unhelpful/unfriendly. Visited with a group of 6 people at 8pm on Thursday to play pool in courtyard. Had to ask for cues after being issued coins to use, had to ask for heater to be turned on. The male staff was hostile in every interaction despite it being his own poor service in doing his job well that meant I had to keep asking him for things. When food came out, it was plonked on table that we weren't even sitting at! Back door slammed and locked up at 8:45pm -asked if it could be left open 5 mins longer as a friend was arriving, no verbal response just a head shake and scowling face while walking back inside. Entered this venue after a long day, I was excited at the spacious outdoor area, the small pool table and the large gaming room. My friend and I ordered 2 lemon lime bitters and asked for a $2 coin for the pool table. Lady behind bar gave the $2 coin but didn't provide ques or chalk to play with. We racked the table and were still waiting for our soft drinks. Returned to the bar, bar lady was on the phone. Apologized for not being able to find the lime and gave our money back. Didn't offer another beverage option. We asked for the pool ques. She handed them over. I asked then for 2 cokes and handed her my $10 note back. She tried to charge me $14 for 2Cokes. I refused to pay that and offered my $10 again, she said she cant accept that and tipped the drinks out. Service was not on the forefront of her mind.
