Goodhub Eatery — Restaurant in Hibiscus and Bays

Very hit or miss.

Goodhub uses free range chicken/eggs/bacon which is most important to me when choosing somewhere to eat. The food tastes good and there is lots of different options. Charlies Gelato is available-the dark chocolate is delicious. Great to pick up some authentic sourdough too.

Unclear after you have been seated whether or not you need to go up to order or if it is table service. We waited for ages before realising our wait staff wasn't going to return. There also wasn't any water for the table.

My partner had the bacon and egg butty but didn't rate it as it wasn't very traditional.

Pretty good coffee. Sometimes the servers will bring a mocha frappe instead of an iced mocha which is annoying.

The chicken roti looks really yum so I will order that for...

WORST/SHOCKING EXPERIENCE! Chef dropped his tongs on the ground in the dirty kitchen then continued to pick them up from the floor and use it to cook the food. Had to wait over an hour and a half for 3 burgers. The beef burgers were dry and chewy, way too much mustard and lemon flavoring on the burger. Food was missing off all three of our plates.

My friend ordered fish & chips it was more like chips and fish. A whole plate of chips and a small piece of fish.

The kitchen was so dirty. Didn’t realise until we paid and sat down.

We advised the manager all she said was it’s a public holiday and that their kitchen wasn’t dirty.

So pleasantly surprised! Tbh from the outside I wasn’t expecting much but the food from good hub has been consistently great. No word of a lie everything we have tried from them as been on point! The cinnamon brioche is doughy and so so tasty! I have to admit the centre was undercooked both times I’ve ordered it but honestly I enjoyed that (others may not). The banana caramel muffin is honestly the best I’ve had and the honey cake is beautiful! All of their cakes are moist and taste incredible!
