Tea talk opened on Dixon Street (replaced Qiling house) just over a year ago I think, and this was the first time I ventured out that way with my friend for an afternoon bubble tea craving. The menu is more expensive than the other bubble tea places, sitting at around $12 for a standard drink. We saw the term "treasure tea" and asked what this was, the staff told us that this means the tea is filled with lots and lots of toppings, so we were curious and tried them out. I got the mango sago treasure tea (centre), left is tarp Storm I think, and the right is boba milk tea. I am not too sure of the recyclability of these plastic cups, they did give us paper straws though, but not too sure how this compensates? The teas look very beautiful and they match the photos advertised, I thought these were a bit more like Chinese dessert than tea, none of us really tasted any tea in our drinks, it was basically just topping and topping that you can somehow suck out with a straw. I would definitely recommend here if you want to try out some Asian dessert but if you want tea do not get the treasure tea series, my friend was slightly disappointed as she was wanting a thirst-quenching tea but all she got was dessert. As dessert though, they...

A decent experience, but probably won’t be back in the near future.

  1. The ordering experience was very confusing. I chose the brown sugar with cheese foam, and the options between plain milk only, and w/ tea were unclear, as half the button text went off the screen. Then there were double-up options for pearls or brown sugar pearls (what’s the difference!) Staff were busy, unable to assist significantly.
  2. Product quality was poor. The tea lacked a meaningful amount of brown sugar, and may as well have been a plain tea. The foam was nice and sweet, but it grainy which took from the experience. I was told when ordering they would use the flame-torch on it; they didn’t. Price was quite high for the product.

Overall, I would be reluctant to go back, but will probably try again...

Attention owner - more staff training required!!

Drinks are good. Depending on who you get, most staff are great, some are subpar. We are regulars here, we love your drinks but your subpar staff is turning us away. We've experienced a subpar service tonight for the first time. First of all, we were not allowed to redeem the discounts despite buying 3 drinks. Secondly, the stamp collection card ran out and your staff refused to give us a stamp on our old card to later be transferred when the cards are restocked. The answer from the staff was simply 'nothing we can do' and wasn't even being apologetic nor have a strong rationale to support her decision. I've also tried giving her opportunities to resolve this, but she was not interested. Very...

My friend recommended this place to me. It is a cute, cozy, clean and tidy milk tea shop, perfect for taking picture. As soon as we walked in, we could smell the fragrant tea. The menu is quite clear. The price may appear a bit more expensive than other milk tea shops in Welly, but with the quality and all the toppings that come with it, it is totally worth it. The variety of flavors is also amazing. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. She suggested I try the Taro Storm or the Fresh Taro & Taro Ball Milk Tea, which I chose the latter. The tea was so delicious, looked very beautiful, and was just like the advertising picture. I will definitely come back to try other milk teas on their menu. Highly recommend!

Most Tea shop have 15% Surcharge. This Tea shop has 15% discount during holiday. Smart business strategy. Cute wee shop - cute decoration. We walked in and we could smell tea, so aroma. Shop has plenty of seats, clean, and tidy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Menu is cleared, pricing is fair and good design menu. cups design were cute and reusable. Quality of the 3 drinks we ordered were great! We had Oreo, purple rice extra taro, and kiwi fruit tea.
