This eatery now appears to be called Provenance. Service at the food counter was appalling - the people couldn’t have cared less, or been more unhelpful. Despite no queue, I waited for over 5 mins before one of the three people behind the food counter took my order (they knew I was there, but kept chatting anyway). They then got my order wrong, and when there were no clean knives available to eat my food, the person at the counter just shrugged. The team needs training or overhauling. As a local stay at Queenstown over 10 years. I was expecting the airport hikari will be same quality as five mile or town. Really disappointed with service and food. Service is poor. The FOH almost yelled at me. I asked a question about seasoning. Because I ordered spicy beef reman. Only looks red but no spicy inside at all. Was tasteless. I ordered a salmon and avocado salad and was very disappointed to find that a large portion of the avocado was black. I politely asked the waitress if she could replace the avocado, but to my surprise, she simply cut off the darkest part, flipped the remaining avocado over, and served it back to me.
