The food here is absolutely amazing and divine!!! It's so affordable with donburi bowls coming up to 25 dollars at most! We got a tempura ramen bowl with ramen broth and a karaage spicy salmon rice donburi bowls with spicy mayo and miso soup on the side. The meals were filling and so delicious I would 100% be back! The karaage salmon was so succulent and a tasty slightly smoky flavour that it just completed the donburi bowls while the ramen broth was divine and was the best thing to eat on a cold and windy day like today! The tempura was perfectly crispy and complemented the broth so well! The staff were kind and friendly and checked up on us. If you are craving a warm, delicious and inviting meal that doesn't break the bank come here cos as a uni student it was such a relief to get such amazing food at such high quality without paying an arm and a leg. Also the green tea and water is free and the green tea is the perfect thing for a chilly night and not boiling hot but just the right temperature! Found myself my favorite japanese restaurant ever!
Edit: My hubby and I have been back here about 2 more times and we tried their katsu curry and tempura and omg they just continue to never disappoint!!! This is authentic...
Read moreHad the oyakodon, egg katsu pork udon and the prawn and vege tempura. The oyakodon was quite nice, served very hot, nice mild sweetness and taste quite homemade. The egg katsu pork udon was also quite, the udon broth was nice. However I prefer they serve the katsu on the side and they also didn't use the normal udon noodles that I like, they used the thin udon noodles which I felt doesn't have as nice texture.
The vege and prawn tempura, the sauce was nice but that is about it. It was more like dry prawn tempura and kakiage that was store bought frozen. It was super not authentic and I do not recommend ordering this dish.
Overall nice portion and above...
Read moreThe restaurant's meals are authentic, not expensive, and served quickly!! Well worth a quick lunch break or after get off work Although it is located in a basement, the directions on the road are very clear Meals here cost around NT$20. The beef gai udon was delicious and had just the right amount of flavor. Very tasty and filling! The staff are very friendly and approachable. And now you get miso soup when you check in, it’s not just water because it’s free! The soup is very sufficient. I hope this restaurant can continue to operate for a long time Highly recommend this place, a restaurant worth...
